Hahahahaa....

Oh man. And this isn't even the hardest NASCAR Games. I'd like to see how he does on NASCAR Thunder 2004.

Oh man, NASCAR Thunder 2004, does that bring back some memories. That was actually the first video game I ever played back on Christmas day 2003.

Back to the topic of real racing, Jimmie Johnson is the polesitter for Sunday's race, meaning he'll dominate and win like he did in the June race.

What Turn 4? Pocono is such a unique course. It's like Indianapolis in the sense of being more of a fast road course than a traditional oval. I love Pocono Raceway. Even though it is an oval, it also has its own road course configurations. I don't know if you really race it like a road course or like a traditional oval. Whatever the case, this is not an ordinary oval. NASCAR first raced Pocono on the Cup level in 1974 according to something I read on Speed Channel's bottom line. So next year's Cup races at Pocono will mark 40 years since first racing Pocono.

Elsewhere among the top series, Nationwide stays in the Midwest and going to Iowa this Saturday night. I actually consider Iowa one of my favorite tracks. It's a short track that rides like an intermediate or a superspeedway. That should be a great show for the Nationwide Series unless some usual [Cup] suspects steal the show.

Enjoy your NASCAR this weekend. Good luck to all drivers and teams in all levels of NASCAR.

Iowa is probably my favorite track, something about the setting and under the lights seems very much one of those past time things like baseball games in the summer. It doesn't have that feel of big tracks either.

It's only race I'm looking forward to.

Fixed...

...and let me begin. Sunday's a good day to do laundry. Better use of my time.

I probably will actually paint my bedroom instead, might catch a little of it.

Is redd's ale connected to Miller lite?

EDIT:Somewhere out there brad is smiling as a winning owner :)

I'll probably watch the first 30-40 laps, just to see if anyone can hang with/beat Jimmie. Probably not so I'll be off to the driving range.

Redd's is owned by Miller Lite, how they started I have no idea though.

It's just a new beverage that Miller Brewing Company debuted this year. This is the second time Brad has had Redd's Apple Ale on his car, the first being Richmond in May. I'm not sure if it's scheduled to be on the car again this year. I think the original plan for that was two races.

NASCAR Nationwide almost ready to rock in Iowa later tonight. Beautiful weather expected tonight at Iowa.

Good luck to all drivers and teams tonight at the 7/8 mile Iowa Speedway.

Ugh. NO!!!!!!

No, they are owned by Miller Brewing Company. Well, Miller Coors.

Miller Lite is a disgusting abomination that has brought decades of shame upon American breweries.

I am listening to JUST LIKE A WOMAN by BOB DYLAN on Deep Tracks 97.1 with TuneIn Radio. http://tun.in/sewJF

Sent from my iPhone 5.

My gosh, Cup needs a date at this track. I'm so friggin sick of duplicate races to bloat the schedule!!!

Am I the only on that noticed that this year the Cup Road races have put on the exact same weekend as some big Road course races?

Sonoma was on the same weekend as the 24 Hours Of Le Mans and next week's Watkins Glen race is on the same weekend as the ALMS/Grand-Am Double Header at Road America.

I always thought Sonoma usually runs the weekend after Le Mans. Speaking of road races, I didn't know the NASCAR Trucks will race at Mosport next month. I'm actually surprised all of NASCAR's top series doesn't race at Mosport. The configuration and style greatly suits NASCAR stock cars and stock trucks unless there aren't enough pit stalls or something for racing there.

*gangsta' voice* Bad Brad, baby! Brad Keselowski won at Iowa earlier tonight in the Nationwide series. I saw most of the race. While I didn't catch the entire piece, I have new respect for Joey Gase after seeing a segment on him during ESPN's "NASCAR Countdown." I was bummed seeing Travis Pastrana suffer a puncture and end up having his day end. I respect Travis Pastrana highly, and I want this guy to win a race in NASCAR.

Your Trucks winner at Pocono was Ryan Blaney. Congrats to him. We'll see who wins tomorrow afternoon at Pocono when the Cup drivers take on the Tricky Triangle. According to Accuweather, it should be about 70°F and partly sunny in Long Pond, PA for tomorrow's race. So this race probably won't be hampered by rain.

Anyone seen that latest trailer for that movie "Getaway"? It just looks really corny. What does this have to do with NASCAR you might (or will) ask? The teaser is using blatantly edited footage from the 2010 Nationwide race at Dover. You might remember that big wreck with Clint Bowler, Joey Logano, and other cars ie final laps. They used that wreck in particular and didn't even try to cover up that it was indeed that wreck

So far I can't find it the current trailer they are running on TV at the moment (only the original Two Minute thirty second trailer featuring that Selena Gomez :grumpy:) but when I do, I'll post it here for all to see.

Imdb does not have it :(

Can Hamlin just get out of the car for the rest of the year please, he's probably gonna hurt himself again trying to prove to everyone he's OK

Seriously. Give the opportunity to someone else and just let it fully heal so he can go all out next season. :ouch:

JGR should just give the #11 to Elliott Sadler and Brian Vickers for the rest of the season. Would it kill them to do so?

Johnson is suffering from exactly what Jeff used to suffer with in the last decade: When up front he's fast but when he falls into traffic he languishes.

And he hits the wall.
