And truex gets nothing even if he was oblivious to all of the plan his owner had set when it occurred just as gordon was. Funny how NASCAR likes tries so hard to appeal to the majority of their fans just to look good. Pathetic year this is turning out to be for NASCAR... again.

👍 The innocent guy in all of this got the worst end of the deal.

Penske and Front Row on probation for the remainder of the year. Gordon to the Chase.

And with that, I'm done not only with NASCAR for the rest of the year but this thread as well. I'm not hanging around while that moron is still here.

Second.

NASCAR somehow made the Chase even more ridiculous and pointless than it already is. Bravo.

Can I be in the @NASCAR #Chase

Why the hell not... everyone else is getting in.
Gonna place a call to see if I can be in the Chase.

What MWR should've done is pleaded to take out Bowyer and add in Truex.

See you later alligator :P

EDIT: Let's just throw this out there: Back when the championship was simply decided by who had the most points at the end of the year, with no Chase, nobody was race-fixing for 12th place in the standings.

How's about this for a plan

Top 12 in points plus any driver that has a win and competed in every race gets a spot in the Chase and the Chase is now the last 12 races

So David Ragan should be in? :dopey:

I suggest ditching the Chase entirely, and shortening the schedule to the race at Richmond. 26 races from February to September, whoever leads the points after that will be champion. Remove the lucky dog, call out red flags when questionable race moves are made (which will likely be rare due to the removal of the Chase). Then award more bonus points for winning races to encourage winning as opposed to sandbagging consistency.

🤬 it. Since I didn't agree to a bid and after thinking about it (after reading Dave's post), I'll continue posting in the thread, even if its not as much. Forgot that while I have to wait 10 more weeks, there is still a bet to keep track of and I'll enjoy that week when it comes.

However, I'm not watching the Cup series for the rest of the year (as I did last year).

He won. Again. Who? Kyle "Rowdy" Busch. He's your winner at Chicagoland in NASCAR Trucks. The rest of the Top 5: (2) Brad Keselowski, (3) Ryan Blaney, (4) Matt Crafton, and (5) Ty Dillon.

Nationwide takes on Chicagoland Saturday afternoon.

Just to be clear, is this for some new rules or one for the current rules?

Must say if so, it turned out a lot better then I thought (Though the Tundra has always been the closest to its Road counterpart I felt). I can already see that just like the Cup and Nationwide car, the splitter no longer has the braces. Not sure what the Silverado will look like but I'm more interested in how much work Ford will put in its Truck seeing as they seem more focused on Natonwide and Cup.

The grill is horrible looking. The truck looks like a bad rendering.

I thinks its not bad. Abit more bulky, but pretty good. Overall (at least going off this so far), it seems the rules are essentially going back to the Super Truck era:

That's no rendering. The new road-going Tundra is only marginally better(worst in Tundra history to me).

Those were the days. Damn. Maybe there's hope for NASPPPFffft yeah right.

Maybe they are trying to drive down ratings for future seasons, in order to better waste the money spent by NBC/Fox.

Pure genius. :dopey:

If they are, they better up their game as NASCAR is doing a rather good job themselves.

The Nationwide Series is next to take on Chicagoland Speedway. Good luck to all drivers and teams racing today at Chicagoland. Drive hard and be safe. Put on a good show for us racing fans.
