Because nothing says "exciting" like really questionable decisions.

I'm very interested in seeing the reaction if Kyle ends up sweeping all three races. Knowing how over the top everyone already is, I'm gonna bet it'll be a riot

He's done it already before IIRC, at Bristol one year

He almost fell out of the truck Friday night!!!

It's also suppose to rain tomorrow, so NASCAR will most likely get another day to think up more ludicrous actions to take before the chase gets underway.

DA BEARSSSSS!!!! Will play in the rain.

I'm guessing the only reason it existed was because of all the complaints of how boring the racing with the COT was.

And the racing with the GEN 6 car is any better? To be honest they need to get the cars off the ground and raise the spoilers.

26 down, 10 to go. Let the Chase for the Cup commence! Cup challenges Chicagoland. Good luck to all drivers and teams today and through the entirety of the Chase.

The downforce needs to be reduced while increasing mechanical grip (softer tires, less restrictions on suspension setups) to put it back in the driver's hands. 👍

I'm still curious how something like a V8 Supercar would do setup like they are now (with a suspension change but no close off aero packages) compared to Cup cars, because based on what I have noticed...they are similar and can reach similar speeds.

Soooo glad they got rid of the b/s restart rules!!!

Edit: They're actually taking a 3rd chase picture LOL.

Today's new restart rule was put in place to justify last week's no call for Carl Edwards.

They played that same song as the cars rolled off of the pit lane at Dover. Must be a thing NASCAR was doing for the whole season.

Lap 108: Rain in the area.

Has anyone else noticed that they haven't mentioned Danica at all during this break? The hype surrounding her has finally passed

Some small time Nationwide driver that's all...

She took the Stewart-Haas train
Going everywhere

Just a country boy
Born and raised in North Ole Miss
He took the Roush-Fenway train
Could go somewhere

There's potential, I'm just too lazy to do the full song

Also, saw this on the NASCAR subreddit, this needs to be the new official photo for the chase

I mean Hendrick Motorsports has already approved it

A Helton in a smoky room
The sponsors trying to convince the fool
For TV, she is a ratings boom
And it goes on and on and on

Strangers laughing
Up and down the long pit road
Mechanics fixing
their broken cars
Spotters, crew chiefs
Struggling for an explanation
Why are these two in the race?

And I'm out of creative juice

NASCAR just tweeted that the jet dryers sent out to clean the track are off because of even MORE rain. Guess we're gonna have to wait until tomorrow. 👎

I think it sorta already died at Watkins Glen (with Tony's injury in all as well as everyone talking about last year's finish).

It died way earlier than that. I'd say when TNT took over coverage the Danica hype had gone away.

Well I was down at the track in Joliet today, waited as long as we could. Back home now, warm and dry.

According to MRN they should be back racing about 8pm central.
