I haven't watched Indy since the Al Junior/Michael Andretti days. I saw a pic of a '13 Indy car, looks interesting. I think he should have done Sports Car racing.

Me too. Its still fresh in his mind and he's shown he can get it done there. With this, he has to relearn driving an Open wheel car (which in all honestly, a LMP2 car is much more closer to slighty imitating then a DP).

Ladies and Gentlemen: The 3 is back:

Talk about butt-ugly. Looks like a car the Pittsburgh Steelers would have. :yuck:

The scheme Austin already used look heck of alot better, that just looks like ugly bubble bee, they need to rethink that fast.

So is HMS going to run on the very slim with engines to get the most out even though there is a high potential (obviously) for them to blow.

Cheerios and Wrangler both have the same colors (yellow & blue) so why didn't they use a throwback scheme?

Bad move NASCAR, should have retired the 3. NASCAR wouldn't be where they are today without the man who made that number famous [in NASCAR]. Good thing the NASCAR golden children didn't grow up iodizing the 24, 99, 16, or 59. Those drivers would have to find a new number.

Whatever.

Well that was an asinine move Richard. We already knew you were trying to get rid of your strong drivers and seem to divert money toward you grand kids, but this...people aren't going to be happy.

And we thought the cry baby internet train for Gordon was bad.

NASCAR could retire the number, but they won't. And I seem to remember NASCAR existing before 1979, lead by Pettys, Allisons, and a guy named Junior.

Yeah so do I and I remember Earnhardt's dad being around before 79 as well, go on though...
