The road course the Jag won was also the first road course in NASCAR history.
Also, a Bug once actually raced in NASCAR at a race in the 50's.
 
November NASCAR. The action this weekend begins tonight with the Trucks going at it around Texas Motor Speedway. Best of luck to all NASCAR drivers and teams racing tonight and elsewhere.

The #3 truck of Ty Dillon won at Texas last night. The win is a historic one as it was the 100th win for a car with the number 3 in NASCAR. "Fix" my post if I goofed here. Texas native James Buescher got 6th. The Nationwide Series is next to tackle Texas.

Good luck to all drivers and teams at Texas Motor Speedway.
 
It's a shame grandpa's golden boy got to win, when there are so many more deserving candidates out there.
 
And just like that, I'm more impressed with that crew member's back flip then with anything Brad does :lol:
 
It was Brad Keselowski who won at Texas in Nationwide. Rounding out the top 10: Denny Hamlin, Sam Hornish Jr., Matt Kenseth, Austin Dillon, Regan Smith, Elliott Sadler, Brian Scott, Kyle Larson, and Brad Sweet. Fellow Texan (and fellow Houstonian) David Starr finished 21st. Hey- got to salute my own Texans!

All that's left is the Cup race. I'd love to see my man Jeff Gordon get five or more championships before retiring. He's going to need Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth to screw up really bad and for the #24 to either win or finish in the Top 5 with regularity if he wants the title. He's only 27 points back, but Jeff Gordon is going to need some help if he's to get his fifth championship.


By the way, that picture in Post #10625 is totally hilarious!

He gives info to those who don't watch, and makes points that are usually plainly made. Not much reason to reply.

The tires seem to be an issue. Not grip, but keeping themselves together. should be interesting to watch. I'll be watching from the upper frontstretch.

Anyhow... one more time 'round Texas. This time, with the Cup drivers. It's Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth leading the way with Jeff Gordon on the outside looking in. Let the games begin!

It's funny how people are constantly mentioning how Jeff Gordon is lurking in the shadows when Kevin Harvick is only 1 point behind Jeff.
