Thought it was 3 races on CBS Sports Network...

This race should be interesting. Bobby Gerhart starting last.

Edit: Only in ARCA would they have a cameraman hanging a camera outside the pacecar instead of having one mounted onboard.

Tough to believe that for all Frank Kimmel has done- and I have immense respect for him... he's NEVER won at Daytona. I do pull for Kimmel to win this race.

Caution on the track, meanwhile...

And the big wreck already happened.
NASCAR told 'em not to bump in the corners. Sure 'nuff, they bumped. There's fighting in the pits!

Chase Elliot, and not Mitchell, looked to have done it and got away with it.

Well in fairness, they actually completed 10 laps before having a big one so not too bad.

Actually, it was ARCA that told them not to bump in the corners.

Buster Graham: "Guess his brakes didn't work. He did the same thing at Road America to Ty Dillon"

1. That was Mosport
2. Ty Dillon foolishly tried to shut the door at the last minute.

If your gonna blame someone, get your story straight.

Yeah, and I don't know if Chase actually made contact with him.

Maryeve Default is about to wreck the entire field....

And another unnecessary close call with a lapped car.

I usually never find one for these races so sorry.

Also chaps, a post race fight in the garages involving Chase Elliott according to some sources.

Police involved, and even a flying baseball bat :odd:

Can't say I'm surprised, there was one earlier in the race with the crew from the 99 trying to fight the 9 crew.

Apparently a BAT thrown from the crowd into the garage? But no punches? Damn conflicting reports.

Supposedly, this is the fight that happened after the ARCA race:

I say supposedly though as I'm still have yet to find any actual confirmation.

I will say this to race fans: Record in landscape mode for goodness sake!

Their was a confrontation immediately after the wreck. Not entirely sure this isn't a 2nd one, later.

That first one was when the Roulo brothers bought their whole crew over to the 9 box and had to be held back by the ARCA officials. This is supposedly the second that happened after the race, supposedly involving Chase Elliot.

One thing I've always wondered about ARCA is with the cars. I've always read that ARCA stock cars are used NASCAR cars. Are they more repurposed or anything? Are they maybe given different bodies with new sets of paint? It's just something I've always wondered about ARCA.

Other than that, when I think of ARCA, I think of Frank Kimmel. This guy is legend material. He should be in somebody's Hall of Fame if he isn't already. I root on Frank Kimmel in ARCA as much as I do Jeff Gordon in NASCAR Cup.

A large portion of them are, but the bigger teams are actually making newer cars. For instance, the 9 of Chase Elliot and the 4 of Dylan Kwasneski are both using brand new cars.
