Still won't sway my picks though, just yet.

If I could, I would put some serious downpayment on a wreck within the first 10 laps tomorrow night. All those aero-heavy cars at the front will cause utter mayhem sooner rather than later. Prime time, lights are on, slick racetrack and I'm predicting a 2010 Coke Zero 400 Big One.

Yup. And the three drivers selected for this week would have scored exactly 100 points at Talladega, and topped the board (actual high score was 89). So, they would have been worth 200 for that round, since they had the would-be high score.

Something I heard in NNS pre-race(see "read the captions" as I was at a restaurant) is that the SAFER barrier now goes from turn three AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL the way around to turn two, leaving only the backstretch concrete exposed. That's 1/3 to 1/2 a lane taken away if true.
 
For comparison's sake, I would have taken the 2/4/88 this week, had I not chosen the RNG picks. We'll see how these picks compare.

Eurgh. I'm frustrated with my fantasy selections, I'd hate to think how frustrated I would be if I was a NASCAR team owner.
 
That didn't take long for 2 of my picks to be knocked out.

EDIT: Annnd there goes Biffle.

All 3 picks taken out in wrecks.

I have three cars between sixth and nineteenth. Call it a race, already!

Random picks are currently 2nd, 10th, and 34th.


Kyle Busch flipped, is out of the race, and is still in 27th.

Sweet flying spaghetti monster, have I been running like crap this year.
 
Got 2 cars near/in the top 10, but still below the random picks in points
 
2nd, 10th, 33rd. All things considered, I'll take it. Random picks actually worked. :D
 
6th/14th/19th. No complaints.
 
I forgot who I picked but pretty sure my highest was 12th.
 
Way that race went I should have left it up to a gamble with the random number generator...
