This is what a final should be like. Nothing to be afraid of, attacking and defending, good game.

Messi today is the key-player because Germany is letting him play. So far no huge bad decisions by the ref. And the goal was well disallowed.

Let's see what the second half has in store for us.
 
I hope this ends with the penalty shootouts, I love the tension in those! :D Just like in 2006 with Italy vs France.

I do too. But the regular game should end in 2-2 and then each team scores another in overtime.

That would be a great final.

Argentina keep jumping the gun, they have good opportunities which don't really need them to run ahead and then be off side.

How on Earth is that a Germany free-kick? It's either a collision where nobody is in the wrong or Neuer is given a card.
 
I have that eerie creepy feeling that this will become a game with a German ending. The whole match big chances and near misses for both sides and in the extra time: JAWOHL!!! TOR FÜR DEUTSCHLAND!!!!!

Nasty one indeed. It was just a matter of time before Neuer tackled a player. He sure loves spending time outside of the penatly box.

Have to agree.

Sure, he got the all, but his knee was head high and he was a full pelt... not saying it was deliberate, but it was reckless. An outfield player would have got sent off for that straight away.

Terrible tackle and terrible decision.

Not a shocking move from Neuer, he was out sweeping a lot in earlier games. :lol: The referee have done some strange decisions this second half

Well, it kinda is. Germans always take the win in the final seconds. I prefer the game to go as I stated before.
