Hey guys,

I thought I'd do the honours of creating the thread for the final round, which features the GT-R NISMO GT3 Team RJN '13 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

Feel free to post your best times, and I'll try to maintain a ranking list of GTPlanet members. I'm also hoping to create a list of eligible players from the UK and the USA ineligible players to give you a better idea of how much you need to improve to qualify for your respective regional finals.

i somehow managed to post my R3 time to the online leaderboards without getting the "checkmark."

Odd. had to go back and redo it.

The final round is here!! is quite difficult to get used to the GT3 but once u do...I could be here all day- and the final chicane is very tricky. i managed to get a 2:20:8xx now its time to study the lap and improve it.

Good luck and stay focus!

Are the boundaries more forgiving on this one? Seeing @BanditKarter22's prediction, I expect my time to be around 1-2 seconds below that.
Well I managed a 2:16.3 in practice with this combo, and I had a few tenths left, so accounting for slightly stricter boundaries then 2:16.3 should be possible. Even if the boundaries are a bit harsher then a 2:16 should definitely be possible 👍 I'm gonna give it a go shortly, just woke up!

Thank god for that, I only did a couple of laps at Bathurst since the boundaries were a joke. What kind of street circuit doesn't allow you to push right up to the walls?
Yes I'm from Australia & it was very annoying especially when seeing the V8 supercars at Bathurst & they have to almost nudge every wall to gain a top time. It was just too strict & completely over the top!

I think the boundaries are still too strict on Spa, went flat at Blanchimont and only had a tyre width of my car outside the white line, it DQ'ed my lap 👎

I'll let the time registrations calm down before I set a lap (or maybe I should finish off an assignment worth 20% of course marks first!).

Shame New Zealand isn't included this year because I'm quite fond of this track :D.

This is bullcrap. The car is non buyable. expect extreme eliltism here

I don't see why. Getting Gold and thus receiving the car as a prize is not that hard. I did it in a few shake down laps just getting a feel for things, and I am far from being a great driver. You can't expect things to be just given to you all the time, plus it just feels better when you actually earn them. 👍 Keep at it, the Gold time is not that hard to achieve at all.

As for me, I'm going to enjoy this combo the next to weeks. The car handles pretty decent and I'm not too bothered by the track boundaries as I practiced pretty conservatively expecting tight boundaries anyway. So no complaints here as far as the car and track goes, its going to be an enjoyable time. Good luck everyone, hope you all reach your goals.

I did a short session early this morning, and after 20 minutes managed the worldwide #1 time :)

I spent another half an hour later on and am currently down to a 2:16.068 for 6th in the UK, 39th worldwide. I anticipate potentially having to knock a second off that to actually qualify, though.

I'll probably wait until tonight to gather any leaderboards, once they've settled down a bit.

Great laps already from Twissy, Bandit and Ghost. I'm on 2:15.7xx, I'll have another go later.
How did you know what the track would be?
