I'm still not sure what stunt it is you're referring to. I maintain that Team Georgia has always run Pearl Yellow with bluish-purple wheels as our livery.

Adam/Nin - you have to wait in line for the Pro Teams to choose in order of CSS finishing, and then the Am teams in CSS finishing order so it might not be available by then......

That was what the 'Car Selection Series' was all about......deciding car pick pecking order for the N24 :)

No they don't steve if you read the op am teams will be doubling up on cars but all pro teams need to wait in line for the one above
 
Looking forward to this, I think it will be a great with these cars, however I need to check if my R8 LMS is stock to comply with the regs, if not I will run the Nurb 4hrs to unlock it.

With the times from last weekend N24 CSS race still fresh in my mind, would be interested to know what sort of dry lap times something like an Audi R8 LMS could manage

I'm pretty sure they have to be, they are the same spec as WEC right? I believe tuning isn't allowed in these, I think mine is tuned(engine tuning) but I'm not sure since I haven't touched the R8 for ages, Matt can make the call.


I think it's stock because the specs are the same as the WEC just the horsepower figure is lower by 2bhp and in the WEC no tuning parts are allowed, I believe this applies here, but as I said earlier I will awaits confirmation.
 
Yup you would be correct, but it doesn't make enough of a difference to the car so if it's got tuning the it will be fine, just make sure you take everything v off that you can
 
Ah ok then, shouldn't be a problem if I have engine tuning off it then(if I do) but I will take off the turbo(if it has it) my memory of this car has turned to mush, I haven't touched it for months!

And just to support Memto's post, the reasoning behind this is we would like to have a proper event sponsor for the race in Feb so we can get some professional trophies produces for the podium finishers. But in order to attract a sponsor the race needs to prove it will have a following, and FB and Twitter followers will be some evidence of that so please, even if you don't want or need a logo, please join in with this push for followers between now and the end of November. If every driver could just bring 10, or even 5 followers to the series then that will really help us.

And for those that don't know, or hadn't guessed from the super high quality of graphics that abound throughout memto's OP's, he is a professional Graphic Designer, so any logo you win will be a prize worth winning AND you'll be helping us all to give the VLN series and N24 that it build to even more ooooomph!!!
 
Matt, what say for the competition it's a point for every follower of each stream ( I.e if you get someone to follow the Twitter, FB and Livestream that's 3 points) but you get 5 points if you can bring in a professional racing driver or other celebrity?
 
Then, after I drag Mr Goodwin into my 'special' dark corner, I shall then move on to Martin Haven and all the eurosport Le Mans crew(including Damien Faulkner) then it's up to them if they want to accept my offer :)
 
Hey for those of you that hadn't noticed the link on Matts OP, the Livestream for this series is now up and there is archived footage of the CSS Room 1 race at the Ring from last weekend. Great inboard from Jonny's Lotus and a couple of cheeky around the outside passes on the P24 GTR on Lap 1 and the start of Lap 2.

The coverage starts with free practise so you might want to scroll forward to the race rolling start around 47:50 mins into the feed

Weird, I've haven't got any notifications about this thread beeing updated.. missed a whole page here and also a practise I guess.. Wondre why that happened, will have to look in to that. ^^
 

The commentator won't shut up until around 1:30 in, after that though we can listen to that Flat 6.

Oh, btw I was planning to run the Camaro since I have alot of experience with it and I'm very comfortable in it, however it is time I started a new challenge of getting the Audi up to speed, obviously my traditional Nurbugring setup will carry over to the Audi, but I have to wait for another day to drive it!

I only created my FB and Twitter just to follow this, I had my FB out but only if I needed it, and I needed it for this.
