Pretty cool that you got your series in the rewind Tati! It seemed really cool, just the type of series I like, too bad it's in the middle of the night. Oh and that I would probably not be able to join anyway since I have this. :P

Anyone heard from TOR? Have you sent out messages about car choice?
 
It took some time to require some of the cars and some were out of reach. So TOR have chosen Chevrolet Camaro Lm 510 hp 1270 kg.

Good choice! That was my favourite as well.. but I think we are leaning towards some others.. we'll see if we get the car we want. ^^

I would have thought you would be ready to announce your choice right away gadget ^^ Being ready to take advantage of the situation if TOR would have missed the deadline. :)
 
It was good that chose faster. We are the last of the list we are left with little time to be able to study the car and make the necessary adjustments.

Ha....well we were primed and ready to 'steal' at 2201 if the opportunity arose :).

We are almost decided. We are down to a short list of two cars and with a final team test planned tonight, expect to announce our choice very soon

It looks like Team 2.6k will not be continued. David will not participate as I understand it. As we were the regulars, I'm open for suggestion on joining an AM-team for the series.That is if there is a team looking for a driver like me. Let me know, I'll be more the happy, as long as I can drive these lovely long races with heavy damage. Cheers from the Netherlands, Bo

I guess the ball is in our court then.. We'll do some final testing tomorrow and then we should be ready to reveal our choice.

And seeing we've had no confirmation from Team Georgia as to their continued participation, it could be that FRT will be next in line after GORE, saving another day for our friends at REST

My suggestion would be to officially dissolve NSP, TG and T2.6K and make a new Am team (decide a name amongst yourselves) consisting of

Knukken
Cobani
eDirtyTati
(plus Micantony if he wants to join)

Remember all rounds of VLN are triple lobby events so there is a requirement for 3 drivers per event

If you are in agreement go ahead and choose your car. As an Am team you can have anything except the Audi R8 chosen already by THAR. An early decision on this would be appreciated because we can then bump FRT up a day early on their car selection and everyone behind them benefits with more time to choose/practice.
 
first of all cheers to @Gadget334 for running things while i have been away.

For all of those who didn't know, myself and @jonnyb1990 were graduation yesterday (along with @jammyozzy and @Chozza_32 today) Big congrats to the guys

Back to unreality: cheers to the teams so far for being on time with car choice, please keep them coming

Also Please get on twitter and join us there along with Facebook. The social media is starting to take off but we would really like it to expand... Please get sharing, liking, posting etc and if you guys could send out PSN messages to everyone on your friends list!!

And yes LordZ we are hurrying, sadly some of us have day jobs (definitely not me) and won't be able to do the final test until after work. :P
 
Sadly I also have a full day job, but luckly I pass a few hours in front of a computer and time to time I pass by to see the forum...... and only have time to play at night....

I have some pics of the THAR Lambo, with me and adam at night during the test race, I will share them once I can get on the PS3 and get the USB in.

Perhaps 'dissolved' was a poor choice of word, but it's sounds like its safe to say it has 'withdrawn' from the VLN.

Of course you are welcome to join any practises.
