Hmmm, if they are doing that; I wonder if that means we'll see a Grand Carravan SRT or something. Probably not, but I kinda hope that do that, even though it's not necessary.

People the current minivan is staying in dodges line up until both Town & country and Chryslers large crossover is put into production. Dodges crossover, the journey replacement, could very well be a X6 type crossover, it is planning to have a SET variant.

Hellcats. Hellcats everywhere.

Probably the only post 1972 car I'd ever buy in lime green

Apparently Chrysler is making Dodge their performance brand.

They announced this months ago, though...

So, Chrysler goes mainstream to fight Ford & Chevrolet, Dodge goes on to be a Pontiac that nobody knew they needed to be. Sure, I think it makes sense. Mazda is still making cash duggets over their Zoom-Zoom marketing, and uh, you know, actually delivering on the philosophy.

So, what the hell do they plan on doing with the Dodge brand? They've still got to sort out the Dart, the Avenger and Caravan are dead, and well... Who knows about the Journey and Durango. There is plenty of work cut out for them, that's for sure. Adding the Viper back into the fold and an SRT Dart on the way helps with that, but, yeah. Not sure how you hot up the rest of the lineup, let alone, make the Dart more appealing to the kids who are supposed to be buying them...

I find the Dart rather attractive, and even looked at buying one until I saw how pricey they are for what you get. Even the base models were over $20k. Miss the days when you could get an SRT-4 for just under that.

I quite like the Dart as well. I too was kind of taken aback by the price but apparently they have quite a bit of room to haggle with the cars. I went to a dealer and test drove a well equipped dart Rallye with the turbocharged engine, 6 speed manual, touch screen and a few other bells and whistles and I was going to be out the door for under $18K. I decided to hold out because of the rumors of the AWD SRT Dart, but if that ends up being too expensive for my taste I'll more than likely go back and get a lower tier Dart.

I like Dodge designs in general, but I find I'm disappointed by the quality of everything every time. It's like they still use the same stuff they did in the 90's, and not in a good way. I looked at a Dart a while back and could have sworn the last gen Neons were nicer. It could have been the base model, but it put me off so much I didn't have a mind to remember it.

Anywhats, Challenger:

Someone at work bought one. Lime green, Hemi, and that's all I know. I do know this, I DON'T like the lime green. Don't know why, I just don't, especially with the dark wheels.

Maybe I'm just an easy guy to please but I think new Dodge vehicles in general are pretty nice places to be. I've been in a few Darts, one with over 50K miles, and they all felt great to me. The new Challenger and Charger were pleasant to me as well.

I daily drive a '91 dually Dodge Cummins though, so maybe I just have low standards.

Soooo....Dodge has released the full line of 2015 Challengers. Perhaps it was the Hellcat extras that were masking things, but this is a car that only looks good in select options. And I'm not sure how, but I think it looks worse than the old one, especially the base model. Perhaps it's the blue....

The Hellcat front bumper just looks more chiseled, in keeping with the boxiness of it. That looks like it's puckering.

The Challenger Line was Announced When the 2015 Charger/Challenger was revealed....In press photos, Not Auto show.

I hadn't seen anything on the base model Challenger, I figured they'd released something, but I never saw anything apart from the Hellcat stuff. Charger, on the other hand, that was brought up by quite a few places, some even made police car renders. Regardless, a few days on, and I still cant place what exactly I don't like.

Love both cars in black. Never thought Nismo GTR look that good. The back of the black hellcat looks great too.

@MCNAGTROC, Do you know how the seats are compared to the Scat Pack? They look much better. Nobody ever mentions the interior though. I mean, everyone and their uncle knows it has more horsepower than the entire fleet of the post office combined. How about the other things?

Even if someone has the means they should not pay that absurd price. Let it rot on the lot on principle. Chrysler incentivized the dealers to sell more so they can allocate more. Unless they're just making a statement that they want this as a showcase for the dealership and not really to be sold?

Chrysler actually warned people about dealer markups being absurd like that. I thought I read somewhere that they were saying to buy direct through Chrysler instead of a dealer.

I don't know about your last sentence but the first I remember reading through Autoblog. I didn't expect it to fully stop but a $150k markup I really didn't expect.
