Was there any post race reaction from Kimi and his Maldonado?

Get properly drunk with some russian vodka this evening.

Well duh.

But did he apologise for his kamikaze action?

Not really. IIRC, he basically said "I thought he saw me, I was wrong."

Mind you, I was half awake by this point.

I think he was too.

I don't know what his salary with Ferrari is (excluding bonuses) but I suspect it's too much considering what he actually delivers.

On another note I reckon Pirelli should make themed Podium Hats for every GP it would be awesome.

Anyone notice those rather eyebrow raising slogans that we on the track like 'Sochi-We are the future' and Sochi-We get it done'??, well, they are certainly getting Syria done, that's for sure!

And bringing them a version of a future...dystopian mad max style but a future nonetheless

Hope to see Sombreros at Mexico.

The Cowboy hats/ten gallon hats were a nice nod in the U.S. back in 2012

Fixed. :)

They both don't care about apologieses. They are finnish.

I guess it's just Putin propaganda on Russian GP.

Räikkönen says his move on Bottas was "not stupid" ... and apart from the fact that it put Bottas out of the race, he has a point. I mean, it was clearly Bottas' fault for being in the way and defending his position.

Exactly. Every driver should know by now that something like that is clearly the fault of the driver being hit.

And if you no longer go for a gap that exists..etc etc

The gap never existed in the first place.

Silly daan.

It's a humongous gap!

Nevermind an oil tanker. You could fit the entire galaxy in that gap.

This race was really saved by the abundance of incidents on track and retirements. Save for Maldonado's one race contract for Ferrari and the points for the GP2 engine that could, it's a pretty forgettable race and a forgettable track.

That said, what the hell was up with those hats?
