Button out of Q1 without completing a timed sector, let alone a timed lap.

EDIT: Coulthard quite rightly points out that this will drop Button a row lower than his best quali all season :)

Man you got to feel for Button he clearly is fustrated as hell but not trying to give it away.

I reckon Manor are giving Stevens prefferal treatment here, no way is he faster then Merhi, let alone a second consistently.

But then again nor is Alonso infinitely faster than Button... yet that's what the timing screens show. It's a miracle that Manor even get both cars out on track at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if they were running radically differently from each other at any given time.

Button has been having problems all weekend so thats understandable, but in the last 2 races they have been exceptionaly close, where as manor has been a white wash with stevens dominating.

I think hamiltons time is more reflective of the true pace, but they will go faster still in Q3 since they don't have to start on those tyres for the race.

1:33.8 for Ricciardo so far in Q3... pretty impressive for the heap that's been the Infiniti Red Bull all year...

Final Quali times, sadly the Beeb timing feed stopped before all the sectors were updated.

Hamilton Pole, Vettel 2nd.

Poor effort by Rosberg

Yeah, third fastest F1 driver in the world on the day. Poor show ;)

Only just got 3rd and in one of the most dominant cars to grace the sport, plus considering the distance behind your team mate in the same car, is by all means a poor effort in Motorsport terms.

I thought Rosberg was going to come back stronger this year and things would be closer, but so far that is not the case. Last year, qualifying was his strongest aspect. He needs to step up his game or his chances of WDC will fizzle away in no time unless the other car suffers horrendous reliability issues.
