Nope. I'm a jinx because all my predictions proved wrong but I don't think anyone will complain. You're welcome.
Don't worry. There's still two more chances this weekend to see that.I really wanted Kyle to win just to see the meltdown everyone would have![]()

Mars could have done a throwbackWell, is there any sponsor on the 18 that realistically could pull off a retro Scheme? As far as I know, Interstate Batteries has only been around since the 90s if I recall (might be earlier).
To what?Mars could have done a throwback
KyleAren't those from around the early 2000s though? Hardly retro considering everyone else is either resurrecting something from the 70s or 80s.
KylePettyLarson's is from 1991-1993, the Skittles one is from 98
Forgot about the Mello Yello so I guess we can throw early 90s in there as well. Still, the Mars ones don't really go as far back as said Mello Yello Paint scheme or the others.
Bowyer to CGR. Calling it now. Also, at this rate, MWR is basically on the way out as a team. They might be up for absorption with smaller teams at this rate.Clint Bowyer will leave MWR at season's end. http://www.nascar.com/en_us/news-me...t-bowyer-michael-waltrip-racing-separate.html
In addition, MWR will NOT field a full-season team in 2016.
With Waltrip himself driving. Hmm.I'll be shocked if they run any non-restrictor plate races.
Nope, Bowyer to CGR as part of the Kaufman deal, 5-Hour energy as a sponsor as well. Ragan to a Toyota team that isn't Gibbs or at the very least back to front row motorsports. I expect Biffle to voluntarily retire within the next years as his chances of that 3 series championship have basically dried up.Clint Bowyer to RFR and David Ragan to RPM? If Bowyer goes to RFR, then it would mean that Biffle will either retire or be released by Roush.
Michigan 2013.
Edit: If it puts things into perspective, Trevor Bayne did better as the driver of the 21 than he has as the driver of the 6.
1. Do they even sell Mello Yello at Target? I've only seen it at Subway and country malls/restaurants.![]()
The 1990s throwback paint schemes continues when Kyle Larson drives the Mello Yello colors at Darlington.
Bowyer has already said that he won't be driving for MWR or for Rob Kaufman next year. Rob is now a co-owner at CGR. It would appear that Bowyer is not going to CGR for 2016.Bowyer to CGR. Liking the Mello Yello car.
I don't think Larson can pull off Kyle Petty hair (or the 'stache) though.

Remember HScott also owns the 46...I'd guess the 51, if they can get what they want would be a throwback to a particular movie car...
..or possibly an A.J. Foyt car..
Edit: Larson's being a throwback to Kyle Petty's Mello-Yello is a nod to Sabates, plus there was no significant #42 prior to that time period.
Edit2: The throwbacks have all been specific to their car number as well.
Yes, unfortunately that car gets no mention due to Annett seemingly being a ghost on the track.Remember HScott also owns the 46...
