There's nothing more I need to say. Craven nailed every point. That said:


NASCAR has issued a P5 penalty of 100 points to Ricky Craven for speaking his mind.

Carl Long has been issued a P1 penalty of 2,000 points and 20,000,000 dollars for never paying his fine from 2009.

Juan Pablo Montoya has been issued a P2 penalty of 50 points and 25,000 dollars for failure to return the "Welcome to NASCAR" gift basket.

NASCAR has issued a P3 penalty of 1,000,000 dollars to Jack Roush for littering on the track.

NASCAR has issued a P4 penalty of 10 points to outlaw4rc for making fun of the penalty system.

NASCAR has issued a P2 penalty of an unknown number of points to Jack Roush for being really bad at singing the National Anthem

NASCAR has issued a P4 penalty of all the points and whatever he feels like paying to Adam Stevens for being too fat

NASCAR has issued a P1 penalty of 20 points to Dale Earnhardt Jr. for writing a check in line at the grocery store.
 
NASCAR wants its cake and wants to eat it too. They want drivers wrecking eachother but when the championship is on the line its not OK anymore? Matt Kenseth should appeal this to some sort of court if he has to. $200,000 is way too much so is the 2 race suspension. Valentino Rossi kicked a rival championship contender off his motorcycle and his penalty was some points and forced to start last at the next race. 2 race ban and $200,000 fine is extremely excessive, just like the Tom Brady deflating thing.

Another example of a sanctioning body trying to make an example out of somebody instead of handing down a proper punishment. Again, just like Roger Goodell's excessive Tom Brady suspension.

Remember how Carl Edwards was 200 laps down at Atlanta 2010 and drove his junk pile back on the race track to flip Brad Keslowski into the air and almost into the stands? 3 week probation.

Kenseth should win the appeal, if not take it to court

So they will get rid of the Busch brothers (nobody likes them) and the Penske boys (they win too much) and let cheater Harvick (the bad guy) fall to old crow Gordon (the good guy) for the championship. The 19 and 78 get to play supporting roles. Everyone likes cousin Carl and nobody knows who drives the 78 anyway. So welcome to sports entertainment, that is what they call WWE as well.

Heard the ruling last night but haven't had much time to comment here.

NASCAR made the right call with a suspension. Surprised it is 2 races and not 1 though.

You know, nevermind that Martinsville was a near sell-out and had its biggest crowd in years according to the track president and Phoenix sold out a month ago. Not that it matters, let's just keep yelling at the sky that it's green and not blue. Also a great move- calling Jeff Gordon a has been. Even though he just... Won a race on Sunday. And you do it in a thread where most people are either Gordon fans or at least respect him.
If NASCAR were scripted why didn't they give their most popular driver the victory last week?
Also really funny that you have spent every post you have ever made in this thread bad mouthing the sport. Who is the idiot, NASCAR for "scripting the sport" or you for still watching?

:lol: Rossi in no way kicked Marquez!!

Go watch all the replays on the YouTube, including the slow motion. There is one angle which CLEARLY SHOWS Marquez hitting Rossi BEFORE Rossi's leg comes off the footpeg. Marquez hit Rossi, lost front end grip, and washed out.

Lastly, to quote Rossi. "You don't kick a MotoGP bike and make it fall." If you don't ride yourself, it's easy overlook this aspect. If you do ride though, you know that due to the gyroscopic effect from the wheels, at speed, a motorcycle is actually very stable. No little donkey kick while in an awkward position is going to knock over a bike.


If anything, MotoGP is as bad as NASCAR is. There is some clear bull 🤬 going on in regards to people outside the championship trying to influence it, and the sanctioning body has mucked it all up. If Lorenzo wins the title, it 100% should have an astrix next to it.
