Nothing I wouldn't expect from NASCAR really. Making sense, now that would blow my mind.

For some reason, I look at those boots and I think "SSPAAAAAAAAAAACEE". Good to hear he'll be walking soon.

Also, second picture only shows up as a red X for me.

There is no second picture, but I see the x too. I tried to delete it by editing the message but couldn't. I tried to add the pic and the link together. but something went wrong. and the x was stuck there.

I'm pretty sure that it's not unusual for the HMS drivers to occasionally hop in each others cars, especially at test sessions. It's faster to swap drivers between cars than to change the setup on each car.

EDIT - at today's test, only one driver per team is allowed, so it looks like KK is testing a few different HMS cars. My guess is that they wanted at least one car each from the 48/88 and 5/24 shop there for testing.

I can understand why NASCAR decided to err on the side of caution after the Ray Rice incident in the NFL, but they made the right move by lifting the suspension after the evidence (or for that matter, the lack thereof) came out.

On a personal side note, I never figured that my 2,000th post here would be to say NASCAR (of all organizations) did something right.

Weirdly, Hell didn't freeze over like I thought it would.

Glad he is coming back.

What about his relationship with Chevrolet, didn't they cut ties with Kurt?

If I recall, they "Suspended" their relationship and were keeping an eye one things, which I imagine will likely result in this suspension being lifted given that Kurt has been cleared of criminal charges.

That makes sense, hope that is the case.

According to some sources, Busch will be back in the 41 at Pheonix.

If true, I think he just beat AJ Allmendinger for the shortest turn around.

Just thought of something: If the lack of evidence is basically what rules him as innocent, then doesn't that by default render his Restraining order (which is based on the same accusations) null and void?

I'd hazard to guess the standards are lower for a restraining order.

They are.

Having said that, if Patricia does something stupid like showing up at the track and confronting Kurt, it would likely be lifted (I could totally see this happening).

That would likely get her in trouble because she'd be causing him to violate the restraining order. On top of that, nobody is going to let her get even close to him.

I still want to see Jr. win to watch the internet go into a full blown war over how NASCAR's new points system is rigged. Either that, or I want to see Josh Wise win with the Dogecar livery on the car just to see Doge meme overload.

If the points were rigged, Jr would have been champion 14 times over by now.
If it were rigged then it would be Jr. vs. Danica. Yeah, would never happen because there is no point system where the two could score equal points on a consistent basis.
