Welcome to the 2016 GTPlanet NASCAR Sprint Cup Series! This is a Series welcome to all who are interested in Joining a Fantasy Nascar Series! It's never too late to join today!
Format
Each week there will be a NASCAR race held on Sunday at 12:00 p.m Central time and your job as a Nascar Fantasy Owner is to pick the Top 3 NASCAR drivers who you think will perform the best over each race over the entire season.
Scoring System
The Scoring System will be as simple as it can be. It will be the same as the real life NASCAR scoring. There may have to be adjustments from time to time on the scoring but it will always be before Wednesday if we do make a scoring adjustment.

- 1st - 43 Points :: 2nd - 42 Points :: 3rd - 41 Points :: 4th - 40 Points and Down.
- 10 Point Bonus for selecting The Pole Sitter for Each Race
- Each driver in the race is awarded one bonus point for leading a lap and one bonus point for leading the most laps.
Rules
- Must be A GTPlanet Member
- Picks Must be in Before Qualifying (Can NOT Change Picks Once Qualifying has started)
- Use the Google Forum to Submit your Drivers. (Do NOT make your Picks on the Thread)
- The Thread is for discussion on the race or anything NASCAR related, You may discuss your selections on the Thread however.
- If You Missed a Week, you will receive the lowest amount of Points from that week
- However if your just joining after Week 1, you will NOT receive points from the start of the race Season.
Consecutive Picks Rule
- At the end of the season 1 point will be awarded for each consecutive pick remaining(Maximum of 15 points).
- 1 consecutive pick will be awarded if a winner is selected.
- The person who scores the most points in a round will also be awarded a consecutive pick.
- In the event you don't submit any picks for around, your selections from the previous round will be used.
- If a driver is selected in subsequent rounds and you are out of consecutive picks a 10 point penalty will be applied.
- You will not receive a Consecutive Pick if aselected driver wins but has a 10 point penalty.
- Driver selections will reset after the All-Star race.
- If a selected driver fails to finish they will beavailable for selection the next round withoutusing a Consecutive Pick.
Sprint Unlimited at Daytona
- 3 drivers will be selected for the Shootout.
- The Sprint Unlimited will not count towards the driver rule.
- The Daytona Shootout will award only Consecutive Picks.
- Only the top finishing selection will be awarded Consecutive Picks.
- Win = 3 Consecutive Picks
- Top 10 = 2 Consecutive Picks
- Finish = 1 Consecutive Pick
All-Star Weekend
- Two drivers will be selected for the Showdown race, 1 Consecutive Pick will be awarded for each driver that advances to the All-Star Race(includes fan vote winner).
- One pre-qualified driver will be selected for the All-Star race, 2 Consecutive Picks will be awarded if a selected driver wins.
