Yeah but doesn't she run the 7 crew? I'm pretty sure the 8s have a different race engineer
What's up with the hybrids this year? Half way in and about half the field has had issues so far.
I thought many expected the hybrids to have problems this year, at least that's what I've heard from others due to poor reliability shown from past WEC races?
So after 12 hours who is still going on here?

...teams finally found out how to make almost bulletproof engines. But they don't know how to integrate those bulletproof engines with electrical tidbits in such a reliable way.
Yeah, Nissan showed that last year, completely depended on the hybrid as they should but their ambition was way too much
Half complete and only two retirements. I wonder if that's happened before.

Well, I'm by no means an expert but I'd hazard a guess and say that it's because they're pushing it TOO hard now with still relatively new technology. Bear in mind that since 2010 or so, Le Mans has become a 24 hour sprint race and because, after decades, teams finally found out how to make almost bulletproof engines. But they don't know how to integrate those bulletproof engines with electrical tidbits in such a reliable way.
Sounds plausible but VERY un-Audi like!![]()
lol yea that was what I thought quite weird for them to run out of fuel thoughRan out of fuel? No idea.
Oh, the timing is still only showing two.Four actually.
Both GTE-PRO Porsches.
WeatherTech GTE-AM Porsche
KCMG ORECA.
True, but it isn't the high tech bits with issues is it? Turbos and water pumps of all things. Maybe the low tech bits aren't keeping up with the high tech bits...who knows?
You can totally tell the C7.R got BoP'd hard. The Aston just runs away on the straights. Shame.
ACO said "no no no, is ford turn naow."
