Sorry, but I seriously don't get why people always come up with conspiracy theories when something doesn't go the way they would like to see. You surely can't blame Ferrari, Ford or the ACO that Aston, Chevrolette and Porsche said "No, we won't bring new cars to Le Mans this year. We're just going to bring some updates for our outdated cars".
 
Fortunately, Kobayashi was able to rest it in the gravel, preventing something worse.

So they went from 3:55 to 3:51 between Test Day and Q (after getting a break in performance) by pure pace?

Also how come Aston and Porsche are still as quick as ever in WEC and in IMSA Corvette are right with the Ferrari?

The cold facts are the ACO messed up.

Not sure if anybody has noticed it but the #6 Toyota has some damage on the left hand side just behind the front wheel after that spin.
 
WEC App comms saying that the floor in #6 got damaged in the off-track excursion.

Yes they did something the rarely do by making such a late change, pegging both Ford & Ferrari back and giving the others breaks and they still can't keep up 👍
 
Genius split second decision by Kamui to let the car roll instead of slamming on the brakes and creating flat spots on the tires.

Never denied that. In fact I said it from the start that they got the BoP completely wrong, but that has nothing to do with the ACO wanting to see a battle for the victory between Ferrari and Ford. That was simply just bad work from the ACO. Besides Porsche is getting screwed over for the last ~3 years when it comes to the BoP.
