Shouldn't the diesel cars be running the longest...? It seems the ACO is trying to kill it off as the Audi now seems to be disadvantaged by running diesel

🤬, fell aslee for a bit but I'm really glad I was able to see Sausset driving that Garage 56 car!

13 pit stops later Toyota will have opened out to a FREE stop. That's massive.

Not the first year Audi has been down a lap per stint.
But this year all three teams has a pretty equal pace on the track, so it's of corse an advantage to Toyota.

It was apparently great timing that my last day of work was last saturday, because I get to enjoy this morning watching LeMans while sipping my coffee. :)

The difference is that previously in order to do more laps you had to drive slower. The Toyota is faster/equal AND can go an extra lap.

Loic Duval congratulating race direction for starting the race the way they did, specifically saying that "to you guys" it may've seemed that the race could've started earlier but that the visibility was VERY poor and definitely avoided accidents.

Well, from the onboard shots and the spray behind the cars, I perfectly well understand him and the race director.
