Big moment as Toyota have stretched their stints to 14 laps. Potentially a huge moment.
Shouldn't the diesel cars be running the longest...? It seems the ACO is trying to kill it off as the Audi now seems to be disadvantaged by running diesel
But isn't the Audi running less laps per stint? That just seems to be disadvantaging the AudisLMP1 H 62,5 liter petrol tank vs 49.9 liter diesel tank...

Diesels have an inherent advantage that they've been trying to stamp out for a long time. It's nothing new.62,5 liter petrol tank vs 49.9 liter diesel tank

The difference is that previously in order to do more laps you had to drive slower. The Toyota is faster/equal AND can go an extra lap.Not the first year Audi has been down a lap per stint.
But this year all three teams has a pretty equal pace on the track, so it's of corse an advantage to Toyota.
