Congrats Max. He held off Kimi like a veteran.

Unbelievable!!!

Three cheers for Helmut Marko. ;)

Essentially

Damn, I was actually hoping Kimi would win. It's not that I dislike VES, it's just that I didn't like the way that RBR got rid of Kvyat, so yeah it was more of hoping Red Bull wouldn't win.

I'm crying! Oh Max

My eyes aren't dry either.

Never thought id see that youngest winner be taken from Vettel.. Amazing

Didn't think Max would be able to step up to the plate like this so quickly. I'm staggered the kid has finally won, and at just 18 too.

Grear race, great drive, what a moment!

And someone here said that Red Bull wasn't in right to take him into the main team replacing Kvyat...

Im in tears man, what a day!!

And C4 goes to an advert break during this historic moment! :irked:

Reason for younger fans to like F1: An 18 year old just won. Here I am at 20 asking what the hell I did wrong to be so far away from that dream.

MAX!!!!!!!!

History made. First of many, I hope.

Alonso, Vettel and Kimi congratulates Max, Niki Lauda congratulates Horner, awesome race.

Masterful last stint from Max, making those tires last well past their sell-by date.

He's shown us in previous races that he can attack, but this was a great defense... adjusting his style to go easier on the tires, and out-lasting Kimi, one of the best drivers on the grid for looking after tires... who just happened to be in a faster car.

Most impressive is how unflappable he seemed out there.

This kid has quite a future ahead of him. Well-deserved win, and an amazing bit of driving there.

Incredible stuff, brilliant race, Massive Congrats to Max, definitely driver of the day! 👍:cheers::cheers:

Gooo Max!! Wow!

Not bad having a grand prix winner racing in your team

Wow, I can't believe it. I was hoping Kimi would eventually get through but it just never happened. Well done, Verstappen though, he didn't put a foot wrong.
