No they could have pitted him same time as Ricciardo the lap after Hamilton and it would have been fine.

They didn't realize it, they had the option to pit the lap after but it would have been too late, massive mistake from Mercedes there.
 
What's that symbol of the tires mean on the bottom of the screen? I see the same color, one just a circle with the S inside, and another with a filled in circle with the S as negative space.

new and used tires

One means it's a new set of tires and the other means it's a used set of tires. I think coloured circle means new set.
 
Colored background means new tires, colored letter means used.
 
Rosberg still has this. RIC isn't going to catch and pass I don't think.

Engine aren't running at 100% during the race and he was going easy on brake too because of trouble earlier.

They meant they'll advise about the brakes at the end if he was under direct pressure.

That was a fake race to the end. All that excitement of if he'll catch Rosberg or not. Rosberg just put the gas on a few laps ago and kept the gap up when it was around 5 seconds. There was no battle. If he was able to do that, it's likely to believe he could do it again a little bit if needed.
 
Excellent end of the race. Good stuff.
 
Really thinking what could have happened if Ricciardo didn't need to deal with Massa and Gutierrez
 
Well that did got me excited even if I'm supporting Lewis. Good stuff without much action in front. Great drive from Vettel.
 
Rosberg had to deal with them as well though so it evened out. Rosberg just had enough. Just.
 
It'll be interesting to see what Sky says about Hamilton after this race.
 
Interesting that there was no proper in-race SC, just one on the grid, still technically a first for Singapore.

They're rushing things a bit this weekend, Rosberg barely had a chance to get on the top step before they started the anthem, RIC forgot to take his cap off.

Lewis congratulating Nico, kudos to him, much prefer seeing classy stuff like that on the podium.
 
That race wasn't Singapoor, it was Singapawesome!

There are people who think Monza is amazing and hate on Marina Bay, but we've jut proved that Monza sucks for F1 racing, while Singapore throws up 2 hours of really watchable and exciting racing.
 
I had to laugh when Verstappen radioed to moan about Kvyat's defending when it was nowhere near as bad as some of what we've seen from Max in recent races.
 
Hamilton needs to sit down and re-evaluate his last few races, been evidently worse than Nico ever since the break.
 
Gotta say, really impressed with how Vettel performed today 👍

I'm hoping they penalize Verstappen for the start. Why is he moving across track when his start was pathetic? Hold your line, everyone will be coming past.

I don't know which start you have been watching but Verstappen goes pretty much in a straight line towards the first corner.
