I think Ford will regret this decision to run the GT and DP program since the GT seems to be seriously underdeveloped.

Well, from their considerable lack of pace at the start, I'm pretty sure both Ford GT teams are ready to intentionally retire from this...

One of the GTs was leading the class earlier so they certainly have the pace. Its the reliability they don't have, and they won't solve reliability issues by just parking the cars.

No penalty as far as I'm aware and part from damage on the rear of the 2 and the missing headlight cover on the 60, nothing else really.

How is race control allowing the 02 to continue on without headlights?
 
So, I missed the first couple hours. Juat turned on the race to see...

...the Deltawing...leading!?!?!?!?

Shame to see what's happening with the GT's. Least I still have the 'Vette's to pull for.
 
A little surprising that the 02 is ignoring the head light issue. Have they changed the rules? I seem to recall the Vette having to come in and change a door since the mirror was missing a few years ago. I thought everything had to be on and working at all times.
 
I've noticed the comments about the Ford GT. One would be foolish to think that the program would be without some level of growing pains. Yes, the problems have cropped up even before several hours of driving have been logged, but stuff happens. I doubt there is any "give up" mentality in that garage. Alot of racing left. Despite that bit of disappointment with the GTs, I'm enjoying this race. The vettes are running strong as expected, and the Lambos have been impressive. I'm sure more drama will unfold when the sun goes down.
 
Just saw the #11 being pulled (I think).
