How many safety cars do they use? So far I've seen an grey R8, an orange Huracan and now some rearwinged thing that I only saw a glimpse of.

If I remember the rules allow everyone a lap or laps down to get 1 back.
EDIT: Happens if you are between Pace Car and Class Leader

Didn't know that but they just talked about it on the stream. They were 3 down after their long stop to change the ECU. Before this caution they were 2 down, and now I believe they are 1 down.
 
Top 8 Prototypes all on same lap.
Top 7 or 8 in GTLM as well.
GTD top 9 all on same lap

PC all over, leader 3 laps up

The #60 on board is a little out of focus and its bugging me to no end whenever they switch to it.

Just hang around, watch and listen, and you never know, you may get invited in. Been there, done that.

Haven't gotten the shirt, got the hat though. Will make a merchandise shopping spree run tomorrow though. For now, I shall relax and listen to the orchestra that is the Porsche 991 engine...

That is I believe called a wave by.
Not to be confused with a pass around.

46.6. If the Safety Car is required to pick up a Car first that is not the overall leader, when deemed appropriate, the Race Director will instruct an Initial Wave-By of all Cars between the Safety Car and the overall leader. Such Cars must overtake the Safety Car on the right, and remaining in order in Single File, proceed around the racetrack as quickly as possible consistent with safety to rejoin the field at the rear of the Car(s) remaining behind the Safety Car. Overtaking the Safety Car must be done only on the right, unless otherwise instructed by Race Control.

Pass around
47.2. (SSR) Pass-Around: 47.2.1. (SSR) The pit entrance is closed from the beginning of the Safety Car intervention until the Safety Car has picked up the overall leader and main field and any Pass-Around is initiated or as announced by Race Control. Disabled Cars unable to maintain the speed of the Safety Car or pack up as directed must move aside and permit able Cars to overtake. 47.2.2. (SSR) If deemed appropriate, the Race Director shall authorize the Pass-Around for any Car that has its class leader behind it in the order circulating behind the Safety Car. If the class leader (and any subsequent Car) exits the racetrack, the next Car in line behind the Safety Car in that class shall become the place-holder to determine eligibility for the PassAround for the Cars ahead of that place-holder. It is the Competitor’s responsibility to determine if their Car is eligible for the Pass-Around. Penalty for Pass-Around when ineligible: Stop and Hold for time equal to two (2) Race laps (As determined by Race Control).

Sounds like something died on the track based off of the IMSA feed.
 
So, I just came home and started watching the race. What have I missed? I saw the Deltawing is out, how are the Ford GT's doing?
 
Heard something about a Lambo stuck on track.
