yes, it's not like the past 18 hours all the faster cars have been passing on the left there or anything
 
Derani has already put up 7 seconds on the Corvette DPs. If a DP wins, it sure as hell won't be because it killed the P2s on pace this year.

If anyone had said this year that the Prototypes as a whole would have a legit performance balance between a DP, a P2, and the DeltaWing, most of us (myself included) would have probably laughed and said it still is a pipe dream. This race has shown that might have actually done it. All three cars have truly had a chance, and prior to the DW crashing out, it legitly had began to walk the field. Hopefully, the same happens at Sebring, but since the DPs walked all over everything else last year, it certainly is promising.

I'm really looking forward to Sebring with the P field looking closer than ever. With the past 2 years being Action Express domination in the series , I'd like to see someone else take the crown.

Why not the Deltawing? :D

It's no longer the curse of the Ferraris...
 
Every non DP but one is either laps down or out and the lone non DP that is every bit competitive as the DPs has been in the race since the beginning? The BoP is so unfair at Daytona this year.
 
The DP's only have the advantage on restarts after that the P2's have been slightly faster

Dammit. I was hoping that all the GTLM cars would get through the rest of the race unscathed. It's the nature of endurance racing, but man, it sucks that a good GTLM battle loses a competitor.

This is starting to feel like an old-school endurance race with the amount of attrition.
