Down to 14 runners.

"..And another one...". The AGP will do that to you.

Double for Haas.

Damn. And this weekend was looking good for them.

Foster's would kill for sponsorship like this.

Holy hell that scrap for 10th.

But were you not so excited by Vettel's pass in the pit stops?

And not just any pass in the pits - a pass in the pits while going a few seconds a lap faster than last year! Woooo! Excitement!

I'll reserve judgement to when we're not in a street race but so far not so good at all.

What a move from Hulkenburg and Ocon!

Probldms for 'nando.

ALONSO SAW PINK.

Brilliant three-way fight between the Pink Ranger, the Yellow Ranger and the Orange Ranger.

Alonso done, but not because of engine problems.

God dammit, Alonso has retired from the race.

Curious comment from Brundle: "once Giovinazzi gets more experience, he'll figure out an easier way to let the front-runners through".

The finger shall return

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

Yabbadabbadoo!!!

(Raises finger)

Wahoo Ferrari!!

Vettel!

The 2017 cars seem to have a lot of race pace. The time gain in qualifying vs the 2016 cars was only 1.649 seconds, but now in the race the difference in fastest laps is 2.461 seconds. This is a good sign if you wanted the drivers to be pushing harder across the race distance as opposed to conserving the tyres and fuel all the time.

EDIT: Raikkonen beat Vettel's fastest lap right at the end.

Thought we were in Italy for a second. Holy snaps!

Good race for Vettel.

I'm a bit disappointed that Bottas didn't threaten Hamilton, but oh well. Next time.

Gutted for McLaren, Haas, and Ricciardo. Come on! Gawd!

That is beyond stupidity right there. Letting fans onto a live track. A couple of them were close to being hit because they are that idiotic.

Tire preservation is still important. It can be argued that tires are what lost Hamilton the race.

Love the radio chatter after the race. Vettel is all "gracias, gracias, gracias"... very classy. Very humble. He's been waiting a long time for this win.
