Even though my Houston Rockets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 112-97 last night, I'm still not convinced or confident the Rockets will win this series. We're being called as "small ball." Small Ball has so far been easy to underrate. If the Rockets somehow win this series and somehow ultimately go on to win the NBA Championship, this almost has to be considered one of the best underdog stories in all of sports.

And wow- the Milwaukee Bucks down 0-3 in their series? Yikes! Miami Heat ain't never scared of no Bucks or no Giannis Antetokuonmpo. Bucks have to be thinking reverse sweep to save their season. Heat won 115-100 last night.

NBA basketball. Got to love it.

Rockets might go home tonight if they lose their fifth game against the lakers, fourth straight loss.

A backdoor sweep by the latter after their loss in game 1 of the wcsf.

The 2019-2020 Houston Rockets are DONE. Losing tonight 119-96 and trailing 3-1 in the series, the "small ball" Rockets' plan couldn't shake the Lakers. So the Rockets will have to settle for next season to try to become NBA champs. Great season nonetheless.

Congratulations to the eventual champions of this season. Another Houston sports futility wave happens...

If you were expecting a Lakers-Clippers Western Conference Final... your wish is DENIED. The Clip Joint is DONE thanks to a 104-89 whacking by the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of their series.

So the following series are to determine who will play for the O'Brien Trophy:

* LAL Lakers vs. DEN Nuggets
* MIA Heat vs. BOS Celtics

By the way, the Heat won Game 1 of the MIA/BOS series 117-114 in Overtime.

Congratulations to these teams for advancing to the Conference Finals rounds.

It's peak Jazz to blow a 3-1 lead in a series. At least Spida is getting an extension.
The rest of the NBA thanks Utah for their sacrifice so we don't have to see some super-hyped LA vs LA Conference Finals now.

Gosh, what a series.

Denver totally deserves more respect for overcoming two 3-1 deficits in the same postseason.

Trading for paul george didn't do any wonders for the clips either.

It is being reported that the Chicago Bulls have a new head coach. So Bulls fans, get to know your new head coach- Billy Donovan!

Currently...
* LAL Lakers lead DEN Nuggets 2-0 in their Western Conference Finals series.
* MIA Heat lead BOS Celtics 2-1 in their Eastern Conference Finals series.

If we get a Lakers/Heat Final, it will be LeBron James' current team (LAL) vs. one of LeBron's previous teams (MIA).

Enjoy the rest of the NBA Playoffs!

One more day for the Boston Celtics. The Celtics iced the Miami Heat big time last night with a 121-108 victory. The series is now 3-2 in favor of the Miami Heat.

If the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Denver Nuggets tonight, then half of the 2019-2020 NBA Finals will be set. The Lakers have a 3-1 series lead over Denver.

Enjoy the NBA action tonight!

Half of the 2019-2020 NBA Finals is set. The Los Angeles Lakers downed the Denver Nuggets to advance to the Finals. The winner of Miami/Boston will determine this season's Finals. Miami leads this series 3-2.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have our NBA Finals! We got the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Miami Heat to determine who'll be hoisting the O'Brien Trophy and become NBA Champions of the 2019-2020 season. It's LeBron James' current team vs. one of his former teams. Who'll win it all this season? And while it's optional, share in how many games (the winning team) will win in.

Other than that, enjoy the NBA Finals!

GTPlaneteers, the 2019-2020 NBA Finals begin TONIGHT!

We got the Los Angeles Lakers up against the Miami Heat to determine this season's NBA champions. Who will be hoisting the O'Brien Trophy at Finals' end? We will find out starting tonight!

Enjoy the NBA Finals!

The Los Angeles Lakers have taken Game 1 of the 2019-2020 NBA Finals 116-98, and they took Game 2 115-104. Game 3, however, saw the Miami Heat win 115-104. So the Lakers lead the NBA Finals 2-1 with Game 4 to be played tomorrow. We are assured at least a Game 5. Another Heat win will assure a Game 6.

Older news is that Doc Rivers was let go as head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers and took the job at the Philadelphia 76ers. Good luck trying to turn around Philly, Doc...

The Los Angeles Lakers say they will wear their "Black Mamba" uniforms for tomorrow night's game. It will be Game 5 of the 2019-2020 NBA Finals with LAL leading the series 3-1. This just seems like a storybook ending is in play considering the death of Kobe Bryant. It would surely be the storybook ending if indeed the Lakers close out the Miami Heat. Oh, and did I mention the Lakers are undefeated so far wearing those uniforms (currently 4-0 when wearing those uniforms)?

Game 5 is tomorrow night. Heat got to win three in a row to prevent the Lakers from hoisting the O'Brien Trophy and becoming NBA Champions.

Game 5 of the 2019-2020 NBA Finals is TONIGHT! The Los Angeles Lakers lead the Miami Heat in this series 3-1 heading into tonight. If the Lakers win, the Los Angeles Lakers are your NBA Champions. If the Miami Heat win, we'll have Game 6 in a few days.

Enjoy tonight's action if you'll be watching!

Tonight is Game 6 of the 2019-2020 NBA Finals. Lakers win = they are your Champions. Heat win = winner-take-all Game 7 forced.

Enjoy tonight's action!

Yep- the Los Angeles Lakers are your 2019-2020 NBA season Champions! I still feel like this season has a storybook style ending since the death of Kobe Brysnt earlier this year. We had the All-Star Game and everything devoted to Kobe Bryant. Now, the Lakers pretty much ended everything on a very high note.

So that is how the season ends. Things going smoothly... then, the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic happened. All games and teams moved from individual markets to Orlando to play out the rest of the season. What would normally be the time of the last of the Preseason games for the upcoming season ends up being the NBA Finals period this season. Even still, the quest is now over.

If you care to look back on the 2019-2020 NBA season, offer your thoughts. Or otherwise, I hope you enjoyed the 2019-2020 season of NBA basketball.

The Utah Jazz has been sold for $8 billion. Thankfully, it was sold to another Utahn and lifelong fan so they should be staying put. I just hope this translates to better management of the team and a greater push towards a championship. The Jazz are so close to being a great team in the west, but keep falling short.

Damn, he's young for an owner. Should translate to plenty of time to mold that team as he visions.
