Sad day for sure. Forget his NASCAR successes- the man was one hell of a humanitarian. He spent a lot of time in the areas ravaged by Hurricane Helene and personally flew in aid with his helicopter multiple times. It's going to be hard to replace that.

Man, I've been in a lot of shock and disbelief the last couple of days. As a Roush fan growing up, Biffle was always one of my favorite drivers alongside Martin, Kenseth, Edwards, and Kurt Busch. But I don't think I truly appreciated him enough until I saw his efforts to rescue and help those affected by Hurricane Helene last year. He was a man who raced hard on track but helped others even more off of it. This is a hard one to endure, but it's important to remember him for all the good things he did not just for NASCAR, but for everyone else as well.

RIP Greg Biffle and family, and everyone else on board that plane.

I was a long-time fan of him, Jeff, Jimmie, Tony, Dale Earnhardt, and Kurt Busch. It's sad losing someone that took their time to help all the people that were stranded during hurricane Helene. It is definitely a very difficult one to endure. But we can remember how good and brave of a man Biffle turned out to be. Will always miss him. As soon as I get my ps5 back I'm doing some tribute liveries for him and his 16 car.

Cleet's face at the end of this video broke me. 🥲

I know, it just breaks my heart that the world lost a true legend and icon of NASCAR and his family too. His children were so cute and adorable. I'm sure they would have had a great life together.

Wow, it's been almost 3 weeks since Biffle and his family died. Still in a state of shock how death can occur that quick. I'm scared of planes and heights, I'll never get on another one.

The only thing to really be afraid of in planes is other passengers. No need to avoid flying because a celebrity died.

I’m uneasy flying these days because I’m an old but I know it will be fine.

Ok, good point there mate. I see what you're saying.

Meanwhile, looks like Phelps got what was coming to him. I doubt this is going to result in the housecleaning the organization desperately needs, though.
