Di Resta was a bit unlucky with the placement of the #150 Ferrari LMGT3 - but it's amazing how quick they can recover from a shunt like that; could have been worse!
 
The Peugot braked too late and the car was too fast, unsettling it as it caught the GT's wake. Stupid move so early in the race.
 
Just waiting for the alpine F2 engine to go bang.

I’ll just add, I’m not super hyped as usual. Not only because it’s a long way to go, but I’m just remaining calm. We’ll see what happens at 4pm 00 00 00.

That overtake from Estre was beautiful! Man, if he keeps this pace up he‘ll be in the top 3 soon.
 
Really love those Valkyries, hopefully they’ll be a bit stronger soon
 
I don't know what was the issue regarding grip on the #36 Alpine, but it seems that Mako drives it better now.

Really strange...

Meanwhile BMW #15 is now the fastest car and Makowiecki just putted his 5 fastest lap. He was 1"07 behind the leading Porsche and is now "only" 57s behind.

It looks clear now the Peugeot are far better on fuel economy.
 
Last year on Max we had the regular WEC commentary crew, now I guess it's the TNT announcers?
