31 retired after hitting a rabbit.

We have a lot of rabbits and squirrels in our area, I haven't seen any cars retired though after hitting smaller wildlife :) - jokes aside, hitting a rabbit in race pace is obviously a lot different. Hitting a deer in a road car would be a different topic though...

Ferrari having trouble getting passed the BMW. Earlier the Ferrari passed a Cadillac with an easy pass. Me thinks some cars are running too much downforce so can't go fast on the straight.

just made the pass in pitlane, Ferrari pit crew was faster

BOP in hypercar is a bit of a joke. The 3 Ferraris are 1 to 1.5s faster in expected lap time compared to all the other cars. So the whole field is evened out but the Ferraris..

Yeah, this has really marred the race for me. Ferrari has run quite the clumsy race too with lots of penalties yet the #8 Toyota and #6 Porsche has kept it quite clean and is still behind them.

Peugeot bop is absolute criminal, it was designed to be low drag and do long stints, yet it has the lowest stint energy (tbf though it is still doing the longest stints of anyone) and the lowest power over 250kph which nerfs any of the advantages the car was designed to have, not that I expect the Peugeot to be in contention for a win or anything as it's just too flawed of a design. But it should at least have a chance of getting points yet it was clear from the first practice that wasn't going to happen.

Nice. I‘m working on a new livery with the race playing in the background.

It‘s probably going to be a full Ferrari podium anyway unless something drastic happens.
