Well that aged like milk 🤣
I did not see that coming.
70th minute, 0-2 down, fighting amongst themself, weird subs by the coach. I thought we're packing our bags.

But when you win you're right, so fair play to Garcia (Belgium's head coach) 🤷‍♂️
You took probably 1 year out of my life though...

Next stop: USA!
Belgium vs USA on Round of 16 gonna be epic.

I know this is not just a WC story, but it's crazy how bad things are getting with tickets for big events like this, where the organisers should really make certain that this cannot happen...

The primary culprit is believed to be an industry practice known as "speculative ticketing", where unverified sellers list tickets they do not yet own, hoping to source them cheaper and closer to the event.

StubHub are letting people sell stuff they don't even have - and may never have. Of course, you'd have to be nuts to ever use a stupid system like this, but it beggars belief that it's even possible to make a business out of doing this, let alone that FIFA let their tickets be subject to this kind of flagrant abuse.

Honestly, if you are trying to sell tickets, the re-seller site shouldn't allow the listing to go up unless they have some sort of confirmation that there is a ticket. Both SH and the re-sellers should be slammed hard for this.

Excluding mobile, which is a law unto itself, is the first-post Second Round table clear enough for everyone? I hate the curly arrows  but I can't think of other ways to show progress, and there should be a thin dividing row between successive ties that show how the Third Round ties will line up:

Thats very interesting.

The England v Mexico last 16 match may be brought forward by 6 hours to 7pm UK time (instead of 1am UK time) due to forecast

That means a midday KO in Mexico instead of a 6pm KO, which will likely only benefit Mexico, esp. if it is a hot day before the storms.

It is good for England fans who will be able to watch the game at prime time on a weekend night; but the new timing might just add to England's difficulties.

Egypt's Hany scores a great equaliser... for Australia 😅

That's his second OG of the tournament, and becomes only the second player to score two OGs in the same World Cup.

Australia have been impressive in the second half, and Egypt appear to be struggling. Salah has been pretty anonymous so far...

So it's 19h in Croatia, not bad because originally was at 2h in night.
Isn't Sunday at 21h Brazil - Norway?

Is O. Goal still the leading scorer for the tournament?

The globetrotting Owen Goals has scored 13 times (for 12 countries), as many as the next two scores - Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi - combined. Including the one Messi just scored.

They are doing a mighty job!

That second goal was incredible

Ally McCoist has creamed himself there, not the first time that's happened in a match featuring Messi but that was absolute quality from Cabral...

Speaking of, the commentary (on ITV) were wondering if it would end with Vozinha saving a Messi penalty in a shootout, that possibility is getting closer!

I can't stand Paraguay's negativity - I hope France improve and kick them out.
I almost fell a sleep in first half...
They just dont have that magic tonight.

Let’s not forget the obvious red card not given to Galarza when he hit Mbappé. Right in front of the referee as well. And no VAR intervention. Unbelievable.

Come on France, get rid of these guys.

They were pulling similar shenanigans against Germany but they've taken it to another level here, if they keep this level of ****-housery up and finish with 11 it'll be a travesty.

Probably the worst game of the tournament thanks to the Paraguay antics, definitely the worst refereeing performance, only one Paraguay yellow and it was to one of the staff!
