At this point, there might as well be a wheel of Misfortune for Bowman because I swear he always has SOMETHING happen to him at least once a year.

I wonder if that was related to why he handed over to Myatt Snider at COTA
Combined with him supposedly ALSO having a Cool suit failure (Something he already has experienced before), I wouldn't be at all surprised.

What I am left wondering though is how permanent this is.

The wording Hendrick Motorsports said made it seem like Bowman was gonna be out of the car for a while. I can’t imagine him missing more than a race or two and still having a shot at making the Chase.

Ever since that accident in ‘23, Bowman just hasn’t had the raw speed as his teammates.

Seems like the tires are clearly ragequitting today. Tire failures abound.

Someone other than Reddick wins as Ryan Blaney takes the flag at Phoenix.

I get the feeling he will not be returning to the 48 until next year (if that).
If that's the case, Hendrick probably should use Sammy Smith or Carson Kvapil. Allgaier is literally a warm body. He's completely out of his element in Cup.

Yeah, I'd prefer if they throw some unusual drivers in that seat like Alfredo but I get it's probably contracts and things saying otherwise.

In other news Denny wins again at Sin City. That was such a straightforward race, the only thing I have to say is that Trackhouse is so bad this year it's not even funny. And now that they can't reliably rely on SVG win-and-you're-in the road courses, I would not be surprised if none of them make The Chase :indiff:

They won't be doing that. Allgaier in for the next 3 races. 48 might make the owner's championship but will need a huge run from Bowman.

And in other news:

Not a good look for him and hopefully he can learn to not be an insensitive tool.

Imagine being Malukas chilling on a random Tuesday and your phone is blowing up because some irrelevant NASCAR driver was making insensitive comments about you for the dumbest reason imaginable

Given how before this he purposedly caused a Groin injury to one guy (after forcefully grinding on them unprovoked mind you), I don't think he WANTS to learn.

Reddick wins in Darlington making it 4 of the first 6.

If you told me 10 years ago Michael Jordan would own the hottest team in NASCAR after suing them months earlier I would tell you that you were insane.

Lame. Ive called my friends worse.
Bit of a difference between calling your friends names when they understand your words as a joke/not serious & Daniel openly mocking/berating someone for being presumably gay.

Which, very ironic to do given his past controversy surrounding the battery charge started with... checks notes, "grinding with his groin and pelvic area near his classmate's face".

Tyler Reddick is definitely the championship favourite now. A return to The Chase couldn't have come at a better time, much like his move to 23XI after RCR let him go early. I knew that 23XI got one hell of a deal with Reddick and seeing the results this year very much validates my view. RCR have regressed despite the appointment of Kyle Busch whilst 23XI has very much become a top-tier team now alongside JGR. I'm soo happy to see these incredible results on the board.
