RIP :grumpy:

That was an incredible finish in the O'Reilly series. I thought for sure Zilisch's car was screwed after clipping the grass, that was one of the best wins I've seen.

I liked the team radio after his car needed to be recovered by a tow truck after the burnout.

"This is awkward"

"Not as awkward as last year"

SvG makes the road courses redundant to watch. Somewhat annoying.

Pure idiocy. Why does NASCAR keep starting races only 3 hours before sunset on a track that doesn't have lights?

Im just gonna say it - this All Star race is completely moronic.

the one that I know and love happens at Charlotte on Saturday Night. I missed the start so I dont know what the format is for this race but I'm sure it probably sucks.

Dover does not work for a multi segment race. Just run the non All-Stars for 2 segments. Drivers are going be out but also locked in.

Cody Ware, provided he doesn't crash in the second segment, will make the All Star race while Chase Elliott goes home.

This is a terrible format and you will have more "locked in" drivers crashing out.

Nothing will compare to the All Star races of the mid to late 90's at Charlotte. Always looked forward to the alternate liveries. Of course that was back when a primary sponsor was on the car for multiple seasons and they rarely changed anything...

I think they should try their hand at doing their own endurance race. I'd watch a 6+ hour race with NO stages...
I get the point of stages and stage points. I even like how IMSA does stage points. I loathe with every fiber of my being stage cautions. It's fake manufactured "excitement" to please the advertising partners and TV carriers to "guarantee" a set number of restarts per race which the metrics say are the most interesting parts.

It's as BS as phantom cautions were 20-30 years ago and they exist for literally the exact same reason.

On top of that it's ruined strategy in cup racing literally for forever until stage cautions go away. All you've got to do is figure out the right math for each stage to get to the last one and THEN go racing. Might as well just have 100 lap races and call it a day because that's the only time the racing means anything.

Kyle Busch is out for the 600 due to illness. Austin Hill to replace him.
Jesse Love was right there :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: He was scheduled to be in the 33 now he's getting passed over in favor for someone with 0 chance to make it in Cup???

Methinks Love had other obligations, but it's still lame :grumpy:
