Fascinating stuff.
Fascinating stuff.
Totally, clearly the money spent and expectations are both massive! Not long to see if it's paid off...
Yup. It's up to drivers to respect yellow flags, that's what they're there for.Racing into turn 1 with a car hanging from a tractor but its fine because a guy is waving a yellow flag.![]()
That is a awful lot of trust in a bunch of drivers that aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.Yup. It's up to drivers to respect yellow flags, that's what they're there for.
It seems Ingram didn't need to use his boost, his car has been adjudged to have had significant overboost and has been disqualified. Adam Morgan gets a 5 second penalty for a lesser overboost infringement.Ingram barely used boost, Sutton drove straight through the pack. They are so far ahead of everyone else it’s ridiculous.
Impressive drive by Doble in the new Audi.
Brilliant first weekend!BTCC has a new fan - my Mum... 😅
We got home just before Race 3 started, so I stuck it on and my Mum watched it too - she loved it, and was very surprised at how much the drivers get away with in terms of contact, track limits etc., which of course is what makes BTCC so much fun. It is quite fitting because my Grandad (my Mum's Dad) was a huge fan of BTCC and we used to watch it all the time.
The fact that it was at Donington was a bonus, and if I'm well enough I might try and get to the next BTCC rounds at Donington Park GP.
I think he meant more in the sense that from next season, cars don't need to be sold in Britain to be eligible. NAPA Racing got a special dispensation to run the Focus saloon this season.Don’t need a TCR car to be built for it to be eligible in BTCC as they don’t use those regs.
Doesn't the manufacturer at least need to be selling in decent numbers in the UK in order to bring it in, even if the car isn't sold in the UK? I can't recall ever seeing a Geely car, unless you count LEVC.I think he meant more in the sense that from next season, cars don't need to be sold in Britain to be eligible.
