So im currently running the last 30 minutes of the 24 hour lemans on ASPEC me and two mates have done in constantly with no breaks in the X1.

My fastest lap being 2:21:717 using a pad

Im wondering how many other people have ran the 24 hour in A-Spec and wat you quickest lap was using a pad?

My god in knackered!:scared:

You'd be a great help if you'd post the final results for everyone.
Saving the replay and listing the best lap times for the field would make you a hero.

When conditions are totally dry, the 2nd place car will do ~385 - 390 laps.

I've done this with a pad and with a wheel, pad best lap was 2:16.xxx and wheel best time was 2:11.xxx

I did the A-Spec on a 787B. The first 9 hours had heavy rain pouring and the rest was on dry conditions. My best lap (with a wheel) was 3:11.5xx, and I ran a total of 386 laps.

My best lap on X1, during Time Trial practices on Circuit La Sarthe 2009 is 2:08.3xx

I'm doing it right now in a Peugeot 908 and I'm at 11 hours, 169 laps. It's still dark and it's been raining since it went dark so it's pretty hard. Luckily the AI seems to be having some trouble with it too since I'm gaining more time in the dark with rain than I was when it was still day and dry. Currently only 1 lap ahead of the Audi R8 and Pescarolo. They're changing places very often so it's going to be a close finish for them I assume.

Best times so far are 3:27,450 dry and 4:03.xxx in the rain.

Hope it'll stop raining soon, really hate sliding so often and spinning out sometimes as well. Especially since you can't see much of the track with both night and rain, already had to switch from cockpit view to hood/roof view. It's a good thing that there's signs and other things to use for braking points or I'd be crashing a lot. :p

I'm using a wheel btw so it's still quite fun!

Just a random question, why are people using the X1 in an endurance race whereby you have to race as many laps within a certain amount of time?
I could understand using the X1 if the number of laps were fixed like most other endurance races if you wanted to get it done as quickly as possible but since most other Prototypes are also capable to get a lead of several laps why use the X1 in a 24 or even 9 hours race?
To get ahead that much you can park it down the road and wait for several hour to pass by?
That would make perfect sense if you don't want to leave your PS3 running for days on end but if you're going to fully drive the 24 hours it seems complete overkill to use an X1 since it would just mean driving much more laps than is necessary.

Correct, reducing the amount of time you need to spend racing. So 24hr LM involves c18 hours of racing and c6 hours of just letting the time get used up, during which you can do something else.

i dont understand...you mean that in the x1 you can get such a lead that you can just leave the controller? (you´re talking a-spec right?)

I'm level 40 A-spec with the Nurburgring 24hrs completed. Did the LeMans 24hrs 5 times. My best lap was a 2:08.247 only cutt paved corners and never touched grass or sand. Used my DFGT.

FYI my best Nurburg 24 hr lap was a 4:52.428

That's how it's done - you just have to calculate the lap times of the AI in order to know when it's safe to park right ahead of the finish line.

danm...i better get to 30 to get the x1..im almost 29 but i don´t have time right now to do the others endurance races...im just waiting for seasonal events #7

I'm new to this forum and i saw your lap time on the 24 hour le mans track and i just posted a lap time of 2:21.522

Correct me if im wrong but even when you reach 30 the x1 requires level 40 to be driven. Correct?

No. If you win it in the vettel challenge(lvl 30), then you can drive it straight away. You can buy it at lvl 40.

why use x1, its still going to take 24h to race it... if you want thrills, use mclaren f1 (fully tuned), it makes great lap times, is right on the lmps' level, better than lmp on straight, but then they catch up in corners... intense adrenaline rush throughout and you willl have a blast!!

i just managed to put out a 2:43:452 first lap in the rain, not bad seeing as i only got the car this morning these next 24 hours are going to kill me :/

Coz the darned 12 update got annoying and I mistakenly quit the race by pressing ok to the update. That was on 18 hours was 5 laps up using the konika minolta without any mods.

Now it will be with the x2010... f#$k if I am going to put in the effort and be fair again....
