This is for B-spec mode. When I pit stop, is there a possibility that I can let the computer press OK on the screen or I have to do it every time i pit in so the race continues. What do you think any chances ?

Actually for me its 5 seconds, and ive timed it. 5 seconds isnt that bad if you plan on leaving it go for a while. I would hope you can spare 5 seconds. Just make sure you got the right tire combinations.

been posted ten thousand million million times b4, "b-spec pits by its self, the only thing u need to do is revert it back to 3x, unless u like sitting there watching a screen for 24 hrs instead of 8hrs" plz use the search. this is even in a sticky.

Added to that, I noticed that my Stig only pits by itself fully automatically when he himself begins the race, so when I do the first part and then hand it over I need to 'approve' every single pitstop from then on.

exacaly why u start a race in b-spec, and then change over to a-spec, u don't get ne a-spec points either way, so no advantage in starting with a-spec. topic closed.

Still the idea of driving a 24h race until you just about drop and then being able to hand it over sounds nice. To me the beginning of a race is allways more fun then most of the rest of it.

I've tried my bit on 24h races before but not having friends who race too (and are nuts enough to do that kinda stuff) made me quit (or crash out) before ever reaching the finish line. When it would be possible to first drive and then give my Stig the job and go to sleep for example, I could still have the 'we made it' feeling afterwards.

Now on Le Mans I took over from the Stig after the first stint and then drove the car for six and a half hours (including a couple of short breaks of course, I'm not that nuts) before letting him take over for a while again. But I missed my beloveth start this way, which is a shame.

You guys better be carefull with those 24 hour races on the newer ps2's...
My friend left his ps2 on all nite and in the morning it was frozen. Went to restart it and
it wouldn't load. Looked at the CD and there was a melted part on it!!! The Slim ps2
gets to hot and melted the CD...I saw it for myself. Now I always turn my ps2 off cause
I really don't feel like buying another 40 dollar game

I keep putting off the 24hr races, telling myself, it will take to long, wait for a bit, but I just remembered, b-spec will do everything for me, so I just have to set it going after school one day, then the next I will have a new f1 car or r8 waiting to be driven:) wait, that is pointless, the only effort it takes is that of not playing gt4 for 24hrs while it does it's stuff, hold on, I can't go 12hrs without gt4, how can I go 24!!!! arg!!!!!!! brain meltdown, cannot function without gt4!!!!!!!!!! lol:)

My ps2 (the slim one) has been on for about 5 solid days now, so I must be in luck then, but thanks for the advice. Maybe I'll set a extra cooler in front of it or something. My default room temperature is about 18-19 degrees centigrade, maybe that helps? And the ps2 stands on its own, not on something or tucked away under something too.

ive just got the slim ps2 and i have felt on the dvd eveytime i closed it and the cds are NOT hot. only a bit warm so i dont think anyone should be worrying about burning cds. if it does you could just get a new one. i dont know about you guys but i will get a new game and eventually a new ps2 aswell if it started burning the cd.

PS. i have them both the first ps2 and the slim one. the old ps2 makes the cd warmer that the slim does so id say that the risk is bigger with the older one.
