24 Hours of Le Mans

Has anyone here tried this race on a-spec in any car other then an X1?
(ie, FGT, Other le-mans cars) Does it make for a more interesting or better race?

I honestly couldnt see how doing it in another car could make it less boring tbh lol. Using a Le Mans car you always have the small chance of losing, and if you put a turbo on it its overpowered anyway. FGT is more OP, and the X1 just makes it SO MUCH more less of a drag (due to the extended parking time). Actually doing an A-spec Le Mans with my X1 now, parking for around 2 hours while i watch the soccer matches

There's a thread somewhere here. Do a search and you'll find it pretty quickly. I, for one, am going to run the full 24 hours once to see what number of laps I can get.

Should be around 6 hours parking time on average.

Thanks for the replies, Le Mans and Nordschleife are the only races left in A-Spec for me. Been holding off as I was hoping of a sniff of there being a remote chance of perhaps mid race game saves being mentioned in "any" forthcoming update. But as there seems to be no news it looks like i'm going to have to plan a strategy.
