They're such a completely different perspective, those helicopter shots! In GT6 you never see the track like that.
 
4.40am here sunday 22nd....bed time...race won't even be half done by the time i wake up
 
Not a fan of these timed pit stops, seems utterly pointless and only acts to arbitrarily slow things down.
 
Slightly unimpressed with RLM coverage this year. What's Hindy up to (no disrespect to the other commentators)?

Off doing TV stuff presenting on the race and to be honest I feel is the worst of the commentators, often too opinionated and prone to going on rants.

I'm not sure how having a car sat stationary in it's box for a minute after the stop has finished does anything for safety. It pulls in at the same speed, it leaves at the same speed.

That was the most climatic part of this race so far.
 
#6 Porsche with a front right puncture.
 
Are the #24, #30 and #80 out ?? I don't see them in the official sites' live ranking in GT3 class.

Edit: I see them now.. expanded the ranking list.
 
Audi Vs BMW! Audi has the speed on the straights, BMW the edge on the curves.

The 80 is still in, I don't know about the other 2.

Edit: and the 24 just left the pits.

Well I rely on Paul's wizardry for the facts of the race but Hindy and the usual studio guests used to provide good entertainment. All if a sudden it's all grown up and a tad too serious for my taste tbh.

There's hopefully the small hours for me to look forward to.

Watching mainly GT3 cars is becoming a bit dull considering what the grid has to offer at the N24.
