I searched.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
I've run 3 24hr B-Spec races.
Each time, instead of a nice sunrise, I get rain.

Just a question: aren't you scared of burning you ps3 by leaving it on 24hours straight ?

I had a scare yesterday.
Thought it was my PS3. Screen went green, @ the last race of Dream Car.
I reset the game twice, only to have the same screen.
Turned out to be my TV. Lucky it reset itself after being off for 10 minutes.
I recently had my PS repaired by gophermods.
I have a year warranty on it. Currently it's very well vented, and at times,
I my cabinet fan, which cools all my components.
I've keep it on for 3 days straight to get my driver to L40.
Once this 24 is done {9 hrs} I won't do it again for a while.

Don't be afraid of leaving it on for days at a time. Mine has been on for 10 days straight now. No issues at all. It's better for longevity to leave it on.

I did the 24 hours Le Mans race in b-spec and it didn't rain at all. At least not when I was watching, which wasn't all that often.

One thing i was wondering about the 24 hour races.

I'm guessing they start at around the same time of the day?

Le Mans in RL starts at 14.00 as far as I know no idea about Nurb 24h.

Traditionally it's 4pm local time, it's been a few different times over the years though for various reasons. Last year was 3pm and it will be this year as well I think.

I did mine yesterday, and after 7 Hours turned off, i started it again, just to play online when my machine suddenly just wouldn't join free-ride.
Turns out that my Blue-ray player got screw'd.
R.I.PS3 80GB :(

Don't worry about leaving your PS3 on -- provided it isn't in a place where it can overheat. Starting your computer is the most damaging thing to it because of the initial power surge (you do have it connected to a surge suppressor, right?). Banks, data warehouses, businesses, mainframes, etc., NEVER turn off their computers. NEVER. So if your PS3 is kept cool, don't worry about it.
But one last time -- make sure it doesn't overheat.
