Mr. Pessimist here.

I started the 24 Hours of Le Mans (A-spec), and just over an hour in, it started to rain. 7 hours so far, and the heavy rain has yet to stop. To anyone who has completed this race, does anyone know when it will end, if it will at all? I've heard one post stating that they had rain for 24 straight hours during an endurance race, and I certainly hope that's not the case for me for the rest of the race.

ik drove the whole suzuka 1000 miles in the rain with 100% water on track.

I hope for you it stops raining in le Mans

Probably, but also less pretty.

True that. I was dissapointed the rain didn't stop after 13 hours when I ran the 24 at Le Mans, a sunrise behind cloud cover is WAY dull, and now on the 24 at Nurburgring I started with fantastic weather and at about 3 a.m race time it started raining so that's another sunrise I've missed. :grumpy:

I had rain the full 24 hours at Le Mans, and couldn't disagree more about it making the race better, as the AI is well slow in wet conditions.

I've also been hearing that rain darkens the track, causing it to be even less visible at night than when it is dry. Is that true?

Just like real life, you neevr know if it will stop, and when it does rain during Le Mans, it's normally during the night.

Well I'm 5 hours in and the rain started around when dusk started to set in...
But...
The road isn't wet and the sky didn't even cloud over, it's just annoying to look at. We are all still running at full pace, I've suspended 3 times since it started so I think this little glitch is here to stay, unless "real rain" starts.

I had clear first 12 hours, then 8h of rain (100% wet) and last hours were clear.
I have finished with 2 laps lead.
