I tested a S2000 LM Race Car today. My first lap was 7.10 or something like that and I didn't run another lap as even that would be fast enough. Then I let the B-Spec guy drive one lap...

HE WAS 35 SECONDS SLOWER THAN ME!

Now I know he simply can't drive, I wonder how he made it into a driving game. So, it's either full A-Spec or a car like Escudo. But still, I don't have any chance to control the Escudo on the 'Ring, but the co-driver drives it well. Something on this isn't right, I guess.

Gonna have to find a car in which he can win and which I can handle. I need that F1!

Alfa 155 Touring Car. Seriously. It's what I used (for my all A-Spec), and Bob won't be terrible in it.

I think Bob is terrible regardless of the car. What kind of times did you drive?

I dont mind not winning to be honest now, i've already b-specced this race and won the Polyphony Formula GT. I'm just doing it for the sheer fun of it. Is it the nurb' 24hr race the one when you're pitted against the nurb 24hr race cars? Or the RS6s, M5s etc? Im getting mixed up with the cars you race in the 24hrs, and the cars you race in the 4hrs.

I don't recall offhand, but the result is in my signature (along with all my other A-Spec Endurances), the race is in the Race Reports forum (along with all my other A-Spec Endurances).

Edit: Looks like roughly a 7'18 average over the whole race (197 laps, 1440 minutes).

i think this makes you just SLIGHTLY crazy. although ive contemplated it on the DFP 900 mode a-spec.

how sweet would it be...one straight shot...

Ive decided im just gonna a-spec the nurb 4hr tomorrow and see how I cope with that before putting loads of time into prepping for the 24hr race and not knowing whether I can handle it.

So u met her going to that rock show....and when u say everything there, u mean...?

Hi there. I know that there is another topic about that but i have one quick question -> any one knows a car that one should take if he wants to have 200Aspec points race and real live competitors (turing cars)? but still possible to win - i do not mind fight for 24h - no problemo.

I once used SLR on 4h race :) yeah i know its very powerful but it was on sports hard tyres ;) but power and tyres are no problem with stock SLR - fuel is !! one must pit more frequently cos of fuel or stay in pit to get more gas.... (at least i think so after 1h of that race ;) )

hip hop, dance, reggae, and non musical stuff too, they have boxing coming up in a couple weeks i believe

Toke and futuredrifter - keep on topic please. Take that conversation to PM.

I'm a bit worried about Sprinterke: he hasn't posted since a couple of hours into his 24 hrs. He was the one that wanted to keep it real.

Do you think he had an accident? You know, the big one?

Hope all is going well with your 24 hour race. Best of luck to you.

My hat is off to you. Such dedication to realism is extremely rare here. I'm going to start the race at the exact time the real race starts (3:00 p.m. Saturday for the Nurburgring and 4:00 p.m. Saturday for the Le Mans) and co-driving in stints with the B-spec, and this could be one more piece of realism I can add to the 24 hours experience.
