I have been curious, has anyone ever tried to do the 24h races with a Toyota 7 or some other car with no headlights? I would think it would be hard as hell...I just want to know if anyone has tried, cause I might

have fun going around the 'ring in pitch black :P :dunce:

So basically you guys are calling me a dumbass for wanting to even try??

Not dumb, it's just not advised as the 'Ring is so complex.
It would be easier to race on La Sarthe 24hr with no headlights as it's mostly straights with good-ish lighting.

I personally want to try the Nurb 24h in an HKS CT230R some day. The AI is slow enough on the Nordschleife for it to be doable.

But...uh...yeah. I'd be following one blue line for a large majority of the race and I wouldn't make much ground doing so. :indiff:

I've raced the Ring using a Nascar with my online friends but it's extremely difficult without driving line on. Try adjusting your TV brightness & maybe you'll be able to see the track better. Good luck if you do attempt this:tup:

No, we're calling you a dumbass for using a car without headlights.

Why not go into practice mode with the car with no head lights, open up the ring and set it to night time. Instead of starting a 24h race at 3pm to race for hours before you find it impossible to continue.

But no, a thread have to be started. How do you guys get by in the real world? facebook twitter and blogs? Get creative!
