250+ MPH Club

Thought it might be a cool idea to post some pics of anything that's going 250+ mph and try to get the sensation of speed in the pic. These are just my humble attempts but I thought some of you "masters" might have some to share also.


So THIS is what 270 mph looks like from outside

I really like that bottom picture - I think we need to start seeing more pictures further away from the car like that.

I recommend some shots of a car on the mulsanne straight in Le Mans. With a bit of luck you can catch a little jump over a bump and some sparks. Add some motion blur, and it should look fairly quick! 👍

I would venture to say that its Kph not Mph.

355.93 KPH is roughly 208.7x MPH

No obviously he's doing the wheely trick. It has yet to be decided wether the speed is real, or if it causes a mismeasurement, but at a certain speed the car just lifts it's nose and accelerates rapidly.

Not in a Fiat 500 I've done mine without NOS.

This one's at only about 265 mph. Not much sense of speed in this one.

You can still get amazing pix without the wheelie, coz the effect doesn't kick in until about 305mph
