I need it to reach at least 235mph. I have gotten it to 223mph right now, but im hping someone with more experience in tuning then I have can get it further. Please help! Thanks. PS: I am racing at TEST COURSE with the polyphony formula car. Awesome pics by the way!

1070+hp 1000+tq.. on street tires i hit 258mph.. i'll have to show proof when i go at it tonight.. it wasn't on nurburgring, it was at the other one.. starts with an S? .. but it was [name]II ... i probably would've been able to go faster if it weren't for the immense torque on this car.. thing spins through 4th gear..(if you cant see-... TVR speed 12 with wing)

If all you want to do is get it to go as fast as it can, try taking gears 1-6 to the right (higher numbers) and the final drive to the left (lower numbers) and the "auto" to the right (higher numbers). Lower the ride height to the lowest and remove all the downforce. Sorry, I don't have one of those cars but that's how I usually work the gearing and such to get a high top end. But then again, the F1 cars included in GT3 never were as fast as the Mazda 787 or the Toyota GT1 no matter how you geared them or what kind of horsepower they had. The fastest I ever got one of the F1 cars in GT3 was around 240mph. So not having one of the Formula cars I can only speculate that the same is true for the ones in GT4.

How about we forget about the wheelie trick and post actual GRIPPING speed because the wheelie trick isn't possible in real life.

I got my Mercedes CLK-GTR race car to go 305MPH with nos, and no wheelie tricks or any real "tricks" at all besides tuning.

i got to mine without nitrous... maybe i should try with nitrous?... hmmm :dopey:

during play, so its a few mph off.. lol (cause i didn't wanna wait too long and miss it)

wow ! you beat me but we're close mine is 301 mph (some 500,xx kmh in my pal version) on the toyota-minolta(1200 hp, had some races behind it)

i should try the clk-gtr next 👍

i've had the Audi R8 up to 488km/h or in old school terms 303mph. Can anyone drive a fully tuned rz supra down the sathe straight at over 450kmh and keep it on the road? I've had it to 440kmh but then on the turn it just lifts off the road and puts me into a power slide (with no control) all the way to the 90 degree bend.

Haven't had it that high, but I know what your talking about. Not sure what speed I hit on Sarthe, but the next thing I knew, I was doin a side ways drift down the back straight, right into the bunkers at the end, causin me to lose the race. Its a day I never wanna relive again. :guilty:

How the heck did you do that????

You set the car up to do the wheelie trick :) , take it to Seattle and break through the barriers. then drive, 2 billion kph :nervous: here we come

on monaco, seattle and one of the night tracks, if you hit the barriers at the correct place and speed using the correct car (f1 car, is200 race car, gillet), you could squeese through them. you then can drive around on top/ throu the sceenery. when you look at the track map on screen, you see your car dot miles off track. it was well fun :) . however, it takes many goes to do this.

still got the photo :) , but photobucket isnt working so cant get it.

worked in gt3 but not tried in gt4

I was doing mission 23 for fun yesterday and we were going around the last turn and I had 2 people ahead of me and then one of them puts me into a power slide and i hit the wall at about 155 mp/h then my car went 90' degrees up and some how I was ahead of the large pack and they all hit me and i went flying doing a full rotation every half second . The weird part is my car wasn't even touching the ground. I wish I had saved the replay!

i do have a mercedes amg gtr clk whick will go at about 260/270 mph on the mulsanne straight on de la sarthe II with NOS.Without that it will go up to about 230.

I realize I’m new and I just bought my PS2 and GT4 this week, but I don’t understand why 250 is such a surprise to some. I hit 234 driving the Nissan in the graduation test for the International-A license.

ill post a picture if i can remember to do it.. i took the minolta out, and did some sketchy driving but hit 334 this afternoon (no wheelies) but b4 ive hit 341 (no wheelies)

Nissain RC92 CP can do 360.9mph on test course reverse with the longest wheelie ever seen! (can only get the comp. to record the speed on reverse cos the end of the speed test on normal way round stops you prematurely) Will have sum pix soon!

I havent got the Suzuki Escudo yet. Is it still the same, ridiculously fast car (when tuned) as it was in GT3?

Im surprised i havent seen it here yet. Maybe that car's BHP when tuned in GT3 was actually a bug or something....iunno...
