Sorry to ask a question! :)

Liveries: Are we allowed to use logos from outside GT5?

Sorry, no images out of GT5 is allowed. Drawing the logos out with the tools in your software is, however, allowed.

I think it's like sumbiting a not edited shot to a 2.0 comp :) But I also think it's eligible. Don't se any 3.0 edition in that shot :D

It's a nice one though 👍

 Yeah, I know. I'll have to search my photos for something. I can't play now since it's a school day for me. :grumpy:

Thanks for the feedback though! 👍

That's what I thought matey. Always nice to make sure. :)👍

So would this count?
Final Entry
"Jaded Future"

So would this count?

Technically it would, and so would jBhIpS's entry, so long as you guys used in-software tools to make it and not importing the effects from external images.

But this rule has to be reviewed, if entries like this (concept artsy) came in week after week, the competition would almost definitely be ruined.

In my case though, i could never enter this  All my custom brushes are pngs, which are essentially images.

the no-external images thing I think should refer to objects like other cars, buildings, scenery etc. Like gtuned said, a lot of work and brushes are done by using what is an image to create an outline or brush and effects, but aren't actually adding the image itself.

The artsy entries I don't think ruin the competition, with an actual theme too much art might cause an entry to lose if it detracts from the theme. I personally prefer the focus to be on the car, and don't like lots of effects. Since the winner is up to the voters, I think we allow the rules to allow that kind of stuff. If the voters keep the theme in mind when they pick a winner instead of just picking the best edit, the artsy stuff like the weather edits shouldn't show up week after week.

don't mean to spam, but I had another question:

are we allowed to remove a sidemarker (blinker) from a vehicle? some of them are horribly drawn, and I would like the ability to remove parts of a car, like a blinker or spoiler.

Reflections
I fancied doing something a bit minimal for a change...click to see it bigger

Yes, it's a weather edit, but I certainly will NOT be doing this every week! :scared:

FINAL ENTRY

Storm over La Sarthe by Miklad, on Flickr

Small nitpick: The angle of the rain coming down is not correct compared to the direction the car is traveling in and thus in what direction the camera follows the car :dopey:

It's a windy day. :dopey:

No, seriously - thanks for pointing that out. Might fix it when If have time. :)👍

I would think this is fine. If we can do body mods wouldn't it just be that effectively.

My pleasure mate. Just a tip to make your entry even better, because the tones are spectacular! 👍
