Welly well, seeing that old F12k1 thread (You want GT? I'll...)
reminded me of some really cool mods that have come out in the recent. Some great stuff, so i thought i would share a few (hehe) pics with ya. Just 2 cars for today, i'll post some more pics later.

Let's start of with a cockpit view. If you want to know what car it is, ask Mazkid, he can tell u more then u would ever want to know :)

ahh yes, while i am waiting let me say that yes i know, the jaggies suck bung. But for some reason F1 2001 hangs in game when i try to use FSAA (anti-jaggie stuffs). SO DEAL! :P

start off this benzito with cockpit too.

ahh yes, the graphical glitches you may notice in a couple of the pics. This mod is still beta, so everything you see, WILL be better in the end :)

man, i would take down all those pics just to show u one in good quality. but, lol that one pic would be larger then all of those combined! hahahaha

Downloaded the mod yesterday, those guys always do a superb job...

I`ve already combined the previous 2 LeMans mods, reckon I`ll do the same with this one and use the vehicle lock to pick and choose my opposition. Main reason to combining is a saving of around 650meg by not having to copy the tracks across each time.

Btw, posted a few small shots on my old site of a few converted LeMans cars (and others) I`m working on..

i'm gonna have to dig up the bargain bin for that game... that's so impressive! :eek:
 
the game, Dode the Viper, is EA's F1 2001.The pictures are of a MOD (modification) made by regular joe's in their spare time. There are many of these MOD's for F12001 (F12k1 from here on). They all add somthing that was missing from the original game, and make it such a superb title to own. so go buy F12k1 now! it should be very cheap. Or if u have some patience, get F12k2. It's much improved over F12k1, and it's getting plenty of attention in the mod scene. Soon, all new mods will be for F12k2. Uhh, what else...

this is the kewlest of all the peuogeots, IMHO (from this mod).
and doesn't the front remind of of the enzo?

the Jag is an awesome machine. It's got beuty, gobs of power, and amazing handling. But, in the mod atleast, it's my not favortie. I mean, i REALLY like it, it's drives amazingly. But, it doesn't feel right. It's like i don't have to put any effort into it. It's the fastest car for me so far, yet i don't FEEL like i'm going fast. This is more then likely due to the weak force feedback from this car. i'm sure it'll be much better in the next beta/full release.

So this is the actual F12002 that is released as ports on the different consoles? Made by the EA Games? OK, if so, i will get my pc copy soon :cool:
 
these pics are from F1 2001. F1 2002 for PC also has mods, but not as many as of yet. They are coming, and they will be better then mods for F12k1. So, if u need instant gratification, then get F12k1. If you're a patient fellow, and can wait for the really good stuff, then get F12k2.
