Sorry man but the 1 mil trade limit is based on new car price. You are looking at the used car price. It cannot be traded. Find yourself an '02 ticket as mentioned or use the b-day cheat to get your own ticket.
Search the 02" year on this thread mate. It tells you what you get.
Its just a case of save before you try and reload your save if you do not get the car?

haahah dude I feel you on this one. It's just under, but the limit goes on value not what you paid. I bought the car and wanted to trade and got told the same responses. Biggest disappointment
Go to mygranturismo.net --- on the cars tab search for cars by brand click on any car its profile will come up and on the left side it will tell you very clearly if the car is tradable -- saves frustration
You'll find this life saver of a thread will keep you interested on what ticket offers what. Unfortunately, you have a 1.5% chance of actually receiving the Ford GT '02 in a 2002 ticket.
My advice is keep building up some credits and keep checking UCD every single race. It's one of the rarest cars and I missed out twice in the 3 months I have been playing.
