Subject: malfunctioning GT3

Message: After using my GT3 wheel with the club sport pedals it is clear that something is malfunctioning with the SHO settings. If enable to any value higher that 0 when pressing the gas, the wheel with cause push select (ps3) during the game and then enter the DEA on the display. In addition, sometimes the vibration does not even work. finally I\'m missing the link cable for the shifter to the wheel. Please advise on a solution or RMA process.

Hi Bryan,

How did you connect the clubsport pedals to your equipment? Is there any way that you could show me the problem on a video to check it? Please try to keep it small and send it directly to me by email (<10mb) or upload it to mediafire or any similar service. Please don't use youtube. I will need to download the video easily. Thank you!
Did you check the whole package for the shifter cable? It should be inside the cardboard which was placed between the 2 shifters.

**link**. A new problem with the wheel has developed. the fan is rattling in the case making a very high pitch rattle noise.Because it is completely random and I do not feel like holding a camera up for a length period of time, I cannot capture a video that shows the wheel automaticlly pushing select (ps3) during the game and then enter the DEA on the display (when the gas pedal is pressed) I actually upset that I have to do any of this. Please send out a new wheel and I will RMA the old one. Also, please send out a shifter cable. Thanks

Hi Bryan,

Thank you very much for the video but could you please answer my questions in the last message? The high pitching noise comes directly from the motor and is completely normal. If you do not believe me, I could send you a video of many other new wheels. The fan could be exchanged pretty easy by the way but I want to focus on the really serious problem now. Which leads me again to my questions.

SORRY for the delay! One last question: How did you connect the clubsport pedals? Are the working properly if connected by USB only to a PC? Do you have other pedals too (like G25/G27)If you additionally send me your phone number I will call you tomorrow to finally close the case. Complete number including country code please! for ps3 directly to the steering wheel. I connected them directly to the pc to test them and it worked fine. I do not have any other pedals. phone. usa 001 *********

IT'S BEEN A WEEK NO PHONE CALL OR MESSAGE. I'm really starting to lose my patience. Send me a new wheel, I will send the old one back. How difficult is that? If you have to charge my credit card for security, I don't care. I expect some sort of customer service and resolution in a timely manner. I open this wheel on Christmas. 3 months later...... You need to understand your market (A person who spends $400.00 on a accessory is not a typical consumer).

Please send me a working wheel and a shifter cable.

Hi Bryan,

Sorry for the delay. I would like to send you a new Electronics set for the CSP to ensure if the PS2 port is working properly. If this is not the case, we’ll directly check and repair the wheel or exchange it if we cannot solve it within 2 days after we received it. Please confirm this procedure and I will ship the new PCBA for the pedals directly on Monday.

besides the missing cable, your issues sounds like setup issues to me.
Experienced the same, called fanatec, adjusted settings, now im fine.

Huh??? How on earth could a setup issue result in the gas pedal firing a select button signal and causing the wheel display to show DEA?

Bryan: sorry for your pain. I went through some myself but not as much as you. Your experience is ridiculous. Good luck mate.
