Yeah.. Its a shame that you have sift thru some of the bull****, there are some really good guys over there...and a lot of legitimately fast times but unfortunately all it takes are a couple of 'Wankers' who try and spoil it for everyone and it takes all the fun out of it. I don't profess to be the fastest guy out there and I never will be...but when you have a red hot go at a challenge and find yourself so far away from a time thats been posted that its ridiculous..I smell a f'n big rat!!

Well - after many hours of work I have finally managed to get the proff mode on arcade - When I started this I hadnt even looked at arcade mode - I've done the first race (only one attempt so far ) I havent wriiten down the lap times but its a saved game so I can get them later - My total time was 12 min 53 secs which I hope will put me on the leader board for the first race - I did spin once and only pitted once - I need to have a few more goes to see if I should be pitting once or twice

jaw ! great effort for 1st attempt should knock a big chunk of your time in the next few runs i cant wait to see your race 2 and 3 times , you should enjoy them more as well considering they are only 5 laps a piece , well done man , keep it up
Hey mr persistance - does my time get me into the top 6 on the leader board - How many racers do you expect will submit times - You know how this is qualification for gt racing team , how many racers are allowed to "qualify" - Oh man I hope I get in. My girlfriend is going mad cos she sats all I do is think about gt3 and racing ( so what man who cars what she thinx??? )
the time you have posted puts you in 6 place at the moment for race 1 event
as for how many people can qualify ! there are 6 members already in the team and i was hoping to round us off to a strong team of 10
i am gonna try and sort it to have some subs , who will stand in for team members who are unavailable at short notice
Excellent - I fthe team is 10 plus some subs then I'm sure to make it - but I dont want to get too confident - I'm so pleased that I'm in I didnt think I would make it but as you say I've still got the get my first time down a bit with another couple of attempts - Can you please please post the times that I've got to beat so I can make a note of them and do my best jw
The ghost racers are those you cannot make the team, mr persistance and GVX are already on the team, and I just want to compare times with the rest of the people. The times for the ghost racers in race 1 are a few pages back in this thread.

Lap 4 = 1'13.600 (rear end was all over the place on the hairpin)
Lap 5 = 1'40.328 (dunno how villeneuve gets 1'37 this lap -The car wont even make the simplest of turns for me ???)
Lap 6 = 1'13.480
Lap 7 = 1'10.957
Lap 8 = 1'10.617 (Nice draft from the Gillet on start/finish straight)
Lap 9 = 1'14.297 (?????? Dunno what hapenned there)

I had a couple of goes at race 2 and had a printout from the first page of this thread with Rome Reverse on it - I did the race a few times then thought I was either a monkey or was doing something really wrong - My best laps were 1'14 ish and I got laps from this thread that were 1'04 Thankfully its midfield reverse not Rome - Ill have a go at that circuit and hopefully be in top 10 with my times jw

the final results will all be put on a board i will post on saturday the 29th
the last day of competing in all 3 of the events , but i'd like to say upfront all of you's guys who participated in these events have done brill and the times just keep getting better and better congrats to you's all and hope to be racing in proper competition with you's soon , now lets finish the last few days with everyone's times being posted for as many races as possible , as it goes i have no idea who has won as yet but all entrants are commendable , WELL DONE !!:thumbsup: :smilewink
